Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced the
4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date for HBO's A Knight of the
Seven Kingdoms Season 1. This comes after the highly rated
Game of Thrones prequel series premiered its Season 1
finale last night.

"A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two
unlikely heroes wandered Westeros: a young, naive but
courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive
squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still
holds the Iron Throne and the last dragon has not yet
passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes,
and dangerous exploits await these improbable and
incomparable friends," reads the synopsis for Season 1.

When is the 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release date for A Knight
of the Seven Kingdoms?
The six-episode first season of A Knight of the Seven
Kingdoms will be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray,
and DVD starting on June 16, 2026. Since debuting last
January, the show has become HBO's highest-rated Game of
Thrones series on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassing the original
series and House of the Dragon, with a current approval
rating of 93%.

Targaryen, Edward Ashley as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Tanzyn
Crawford as Tanselle, Henry Ashton as Daeron Targaryen,
Youssef Kerkour as Steely Pate, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as Plummer,
and Daniel Monks as Ser Manfred Dondarrion.

The prequel fantasy drama is based on George R. R. Martin's
novella The Hedge Knight. It is created and executive-produced
by Martin and showrunner Ira Parker. Executive producers are
Sarah Bradshaw, Owen Harris, Ryan Condal, and Vince Gerardis,
with Owen Harris and Sarah Adina Smith serving as directors.
