    I watched:

    THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN:
"Brotherhood of the Night". A pack of werewolves plan an attack against
an evil wizard in an effort to attain invincibility for their whole
    tribe.

    THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN:
"Challenge of the Wizards". Three wizards are battling over the Helmet
of Power; Thundarr and company are caught in the middle.

    THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN:

You must be enjoying this. Maybe I'll give it a shot, now that I finally
have control of a TV again.

    What did you watch?

I watched three more episodes of The Neighborhood. It's not exactly edgy
-- all the racial conflicts are stereotypical and minor -- and that
works well for a staid sitcom. The Dave-Calvin interactions are the
heart of the show, with Dave trying too hard and Calvin rolling his
eyes. Gemma and Tina, their wives, can flex enough to get along better.

Some of the best moments are when each father is interacting with the
other's children. Calvin and Tina babysat Grover for Dave and Gemma's anniversary, and when Grover insisted he should get dessert despite
having refused to eat catfish, he sparked a short-lived rebellion from Calvin's sons. I'd like to find a more substantial show as well, but
this one is great for mindless relaxation.

    I watched:

Barron's Cove (Showtime) 2024 movie starring Garrett Hedlund as a father
with a shady past whose young son is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Two other young boys were at the scene and questioned by police with whole thing being ruled a suicide. But after one of the
boys does a couple of things which clearly indicate otherwise, Hedlund
kidnaps the boy and plans to get the truth out of him. We've all seen
these types of movies where someone kidnaps a criminal to torture the
truth out of them, but the twist here is the kidnapped criminal is a
very young child. It wasn't exactly a good movie, but it had an
interesting premise that held my interest. Stephen Lang also pops up
    playing Hedlund's crime boss uncle.

Ghosts - "It's a Wonderful Christmas Carol" - I've slowly been making my
way through this series. This was the season finale. It was a take on
It's a Wonderful Life where Carol wishes she never had the ability to
see Ghost then gets to see how much worse things would be. I don't buy
the premise that things would be worse. Those ghosts have been
absolutely horrible this season. I think that's one of the reasons I've
been so slow to watch. The ghosts treat everyone like dirt then
wackiness ensues. Finally in the last couple of episodes they sort of addressed it. But instead of doing "It's a Wonderful Life," I think a
better finale would have been the living getting fed up and just moving.
Then next season the ghosts can rethink their behavior and figure out
a way to beg them to come back.

I think that was just the 'winter finale', it'll be back at the end of
    next month.

I haven't watched any of this but it sounds like they're doing what Hollywood always does: the white guy is portrayed as well-meaning but ignorant, if not outright stupid, and is always bumbling around racial stereotypes and 'microagressions' while the long-suffering noble black family just sighs and rolls their eyes at his foolishness.

Gemma and Tina, their wives, can flex enough to get along better.

No, I haven't seen anything about microagressions or ignorance. His cluelessness is vaster and with better intentions. For instance, he
invited Calvin to a Ren Fair.

It's not hostile to either race.
