Netflix Renews Popular Show for Season 6 Shortly After Season 5 Premiere

Netflix has renewed a popular TV show for a sixth season.
Created by Darren Star, Emily in Paris premiered on the Netflix
streaming service in October 2020. The show stars Lily Collins as the
titular Emily Cooper, while the supporting cast includesa Philippine
Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo
as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, and Bruno Gouery as Luc, among
others.
What Netflix show has been renewed for Season 6?
Per Deadline, Netflix has now officially greenlit Emily in Paris for
Season 6. A premiere date has not yet been set.
The renewal comes just two weeks after all ten episodes of Emily in
Paris Season 5 were released on Netflix.
Star previously said regarding the future of Emily in Paris after
Season 5, via Tudum, "There are a lot of places I'd love to visit. But
I think the show organically [follows] the storyline. The show is Emily
in Paris. It's never going to permanently leave its home base. But if
I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that
... a[It's] fun to think about."
Emily in Paris Season 5 "follows Emily as she travels to Rome for
business - and pleasure. The Chicago-born marketing exec is tasked with
launching an Agence Grateau office in the Eternal City, as she tackles a
new relationship with luxury fashion heir Marcello Muratori (Eugenio
Franceschini). But tensions rise in every corner of Emily's life, and
she's pulled between the newness of Italy and her roots in France."
According to Tudum, Emily in Paris received 26.8 million views globally
in just 11 days. It became the number one TV series in 24 countries,
including France, Italy, Brazil, and Germany.
All five seasons of Emily in Paris are now available to stream on
Netflix.
