"Former President Donald Trump made an unscheduled campaign stop at

rally at Temple University in the key battleground state of

Trump left a $500 tip and wrote "no taxes on tips" on the receipt,
aligning with his recent campaign stance to end taxation on tips for
service industry workers. This gesture highlighted a key issue facing
many small business owners and their employees across the country."

Yep. Being that they are liberals, they are concerned with narrative,

"Former President Donald Trump made an unscheduled campaign stop at

rally at Temple University in the key battleground state of
Pennsylvania. The visit, which came as a surprise to the restaurant's

Trump left a $500 tip and wrote "no taxes on tips" on the receipt,
aligning with his recent campaign stance to end taxation on tips for
service industry workers. This gesture highlighted a key issue facing
many small business owners and their employees across the country."

Yep. Being that they are liberals, they are concerned with narrative,
    not truth and fact.

Gracious me! Surely you must need an oxygen mask at that height...

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
small businesses that were left in the lurch by Trump after doing work
for him. So I guess he's more than willing to be generous when it's
public facing, like handing out money to people with cameras and
reporters looking on but unwilling to pay businesses for the work he
contracted since there's no one watching.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club
    staff
    with $100 bills.

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around.

No the general public or press. It was inside a USSS secure perimeter.

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
small businesses that were left in the lurch by Trump after doing work
for him. So I guess he's more than willing to be generous when it's
public facing, like handing out money to people with cameras and >>>>>>>> reporters looking on but unwilling to pay businesses for the work he
contracted since there's no one watching.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club
    staff
    with $100 bills.

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around. Also he was doing
it face to face. Maybe it's easier for him to cheat people if they >>>>>> aren't in front of him because it's a well known fact that he will >>>>>> often cheat businesses out of the money they earned doing work for >>>>>> him. It's apparently been an ongoing thing for him since he got into >>>>>> business.

*Admit* it? Why can't you just read what's been said?

"...he's more than willing to be generous when it's
    public facing..."

Except my golf tip example was inside a USSS secure perimeter. No general >>> public or press were present.

I'm not sure you're really "tipping" someone who's expected to jump
between you and a bullet. But, yes, if he wasn't trying to bolster his
reputation for largess, then his motives for tipping may have been as
pure as yours or mine would be. Unlikely, imo, but possible.

He wasn't just trying to tip the agents. He was tipping everyone. The hostess,
the club concierge, the caddies, the towel boys, the girl who brought snacks and drinks, etc.

I have no more to add, but, fwiw, here's Google's AI:

Yes, Donald Trump does tip, though his practices are inconsistent
and sometimes motivated by avoiding bad press; he's been described as
tipping generously with $100 bills to staff at his properties but also admitted in 2025 he tips mostly to prevent negative publicity, though he
has also been seen leaving large tips, like $500 at a Philly cheesesteak
spot. His public stance has evolved, including policies proposed to make tipped income tax-free, while also facing criticism for past rules
    allowing employers to pocket tips.

    the fee, circle
it, and write, "That's your tip."

That reminds me; What's the deal with my FB feed containing several
    postings
lecturing me to tip 40% and postings (suspiciously AI-generated) of
people's restaurant bills with comments written about the
    tip? I saw one
    in which the
waiter presumably wrote on a bill with no tip that they
    were calling the
    cops.

LOL. If a waiter ever wrote such a thing I would definitely not tip.
Even if I loved their service. Just to see if they were foolish enough
to call the cops out for my deciding not to offer an optional
    gratuity.

    This.

I would *so* call their bluff.

I wonder if Trump tips. Funny, just thinking about it we seem to know
    the answer, no?

"Former President Donald Trump made an unscheduled campaign stop at
Tony and Nick's Steaks in South Philadelphia on Saturday, prior to a
rally at Temple University in the key battleground state of >>>>>>>>>>> Pennsylvania. The visit, which came as a surprise to the restaurant's

Trump left a $500 tip and wrote "no taxes on tips" on the receipt,

Suzee, Traveler, and Capricorne won't let facts get in the way of a good
    round
    of Trump-bashing.

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
small businesses that were left in the lurch by Trump after doing work
for him. So I guess he's more than willing to be generous when it's
public facing, like handing out money to people with cameras and >>>>>>>>> reporters looking on but unwilling to pay businesses for the work he
contracted since there's no one watching.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club
    staff
    with $100 bills.

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around. Also he was doing
it face to face. Maybe it's easier for him to cheat people if they >>>>>>> aren't in front of him because it's a well known fact that he will >>>>>>> often cheat businesses out of the money they earned doing work for >>>>>>> him. It's apparently been an ongoing thing for him since he got into
    business.

    Laughter!
The claim that he does not tip is proven false. Why can't you just >>>>>> admit it?

*Admit* it? Why can't you just read what's been said?

"...he's more than willing to be generous when it's
    public facing..."

Except my golf tip example was inside a USSS secure perimeter. No general
    public or press were present.

The hostess,
the club concierge, the caddies, the towel boys, the girl who brought snacks >> and drinks, etc.

I have no more to add, but, fwiw, here's Google's AI:

Yes, Donald Trump does tip, though his practices are inconsistent
and sometimes motivated by avoiding bad press; he's been described as >tipping generously with $100 bills to staff at his properties but also >admitted in 2025 he tips mostly to prevent negative publicity, though he
has also been seen leaving large tips, like $500 at a Philly cheesesteak >spot. His public stance has evolved, including policies proposed to make >tipped income tax-free, while also facing criticism for past rules
    allowing employers to pocket tips.

He wasn't just trying to tip the agents. He was tipping everyone. The hostess,
the club concierge, the caddies, the towel boys, the girl who brought snacks
    and drinks, etc.

I have no more to add, but, fwiw, here's Google's AI:

Yes, Donald Trump does tip, though his practices are inconsistent
and sometimes motivated by avoiding bad press; he's been described as
tipping generously with $100 bills to staff at his properties but also
admitted in 2025 he tips mostly to prevent negative publicity, though he >>> has also been seen leaving large tips, like $500 at a Philly cheesesteak >>> spot. His public stance has evolved, including policies proposed to make >>> tipped income tax-free, while also facing criticism for past rules
    allowing employers to pocket tips.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around. Also he was doing

The claim that he does not tip is proven false. Why can't you just

*Admit* it? Why can't you just read what's been said?

"...he's more than willing to be generous when it's
    public facing..."

Except my golf tip example was inside a USSS secure perimeter. No general
    public or press were present.

I'm not sure you're really "tipping" someone who's expected to jump >>>>>> between you and a bullet. But, yes, if he wasn't trying to bolster his >>>>>> reputation for largess, then his motives for tipping may have been as >>>>>> pure as yours or mine would be. Unlikely, imo, but possible.

He wasn't just trying to tip the agents. He was tipping everyone. The hostess,
the club concierge, the caddies, the towel boys, the girl who brought snacks
    and drinks, etc.

I have no more to add, but, fwiw, here's Google's AI:

Yes, Donald Trump does tip, though his practices are inconsistent >>>> and sometimes motivated by avoiding bad press; he's been described as
tipping generously with $100 bills to staff at his properties but also >>>> admitted in 2025 he tips mostly to prevent negative publicity, though he >>>> has also been seen leaving large tips, like $500 at a Philly cheesesteak >>>> spot. His public stance has evolved, including policies proposed to make >>>> tipped income tax-free, while also facing criticism for past rules
    allowing employers to pocket tips.

AI: The only source that says "information provided here may be

*All* sources should only be so candid...

    Laughter!

You would be wise to not use sources that have a note like this.

In your wisdom, you seem to that no note means no error.

Quoting AI is worse than citing Wikipedia.

Yet you just did. And picked a factual quote, at that.

Where did I do this? this should be good.

"information provided here may be wrong". You even attributed it.

    postings
lecturing me to tip 40% and postings (suspiciously AI-generated) of
people's restaurant bills with comments written about the
    tip? I saw one
    in which the
waiter presumably wrote on a bill with no tip that they
    were calling the
    cops.

"Former President Donald Trump made an unscheduled campaign stop at
Tony and Nick's Steaks in South Philadelphia on Saturday, prior to a
rally at Temple University in the key battleground state of
Pennsylvania. The visit, which came as a surprise to the restaurant's
owner, left a lasting impression on both staff and patrons.

Trump left a $500 tip and wrote "no taxes on tips" on the receipt,
aligning with his recent campaign stance to end taxation on tips for
service industry workers. This gesture highlighted a key issue facing
many small business owners and their employees across the country."

"But... but... what about the narrative!?!"

Suzee, Traveler, and Capricorne won't let facts get in the way of a good
    round
    of Trump-bashing.

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
small businesses that were left in the lurch by Trump after doing work
for him. So I guess he's more than willing to be generous when it's
public facing, like handing out money to people with cameras and
reporters looking on but unwilling to pay businesses for the work he
contracted since there's no one watching.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club
    staff
    with $100 bills.

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around. Also he was doing
it face to face. Maybe it's easier for him to cheat people if they
aren't in front of him because it's a well known fact that he will
often cheat businesses out of the money they earned doing work for
him. It's apparently been an ongoing thing for him since he got into
    business.

    Laughter!
The claim that he does not tip is proven false. Why can't you just
    admit it?

*Admit* it? Why can't you just read what's been said?

"...he's more than willing to be generous when it's >>>>>>>>> public facing..."

Except my golf tip example was inside a USSS secure perimeter. No general
    public or press were present.

I'm not sure you're really "tipping" someone who's expected to jump >>>>>>> between you and a bullet. But, yes, if he wasn't trying to bolster his >>>>>>> reputation for largess, then his motives for tipping may have been as >>>>>>> pure as yours or mine would be.

Yes, Donald Trump does tip, though his practices are inconsistent >>>>> and sometimes motivated by avoiding bad press; he's been described as >>>>> tipping generously with $100 bills to staff at his properties but also >>>>> admitted in 2025 he tips mostly to prevent negative publicity, though he >>>>> has also been seen leaving large tips, like $500 at a Philly cheesesteak >>>>> spot. "Former President Donald Trump made an unscheduled campaign stop at

Trump left a $500 tip and wrote "no taxes on tips" on the receipt,

All ya had to do is look dude.

"But... but... what about the narrative!?!"

Suzee, Traveler, and Capricorne won't let facts get in the way of a good
    round
    of Trump-bashing.

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
small businesses that were left in the lurch by Trump after doing work
for him. So I guess he's more than willing to be generous when it's >>>>>>>>> public facing, like handing out money to people with cameras and >>>>>>>>> reporters looking on but unwilling to pay businesses for the work he >>>>>>>>> contracted since there's no one watching.

There were no press or public around when he was showering the golf club staff
    with $100 bills.

sure sounds like there were plenty of people around. Also he was doing >>>>>>> it face to face. Maybe it's easier for him to cheat people if they >>>>>>> aren't in front of him because it's a well known fact that he will >>>>>>> often cheat businesses out of the money they earned doing work for >>>>>>> him. It's apparently been an ongoing thing for him since he got into >>>>>>> business.

    Laughter!
The claim that he does not tip is proven false. Why can't you just >>>>>> admit it?

*Admit* it? Why can't you just read what's been said?

"...he's more than willing to be generous when it's
    public facing..."

So you add a condition not part of the discussion and try to use it as >>>> the rule.

Tell you what. Since you think he stiff people on tips, find a
citation that proves this. All the evidence provided shows otherwise.

The condition that he (not me) added contained the very "admission" you
    faulted him for not providing.

Please respond with specifics and not random mumblings. If you're
going to stand behind the claim that Trump doesn't tip, provide
*something* credible that backs it up.

You're doing the equivalent of "did not, did so".

You specifically demanded an "admission" though one was already present.

Please reassemble your argument, summarize it and we'll move on from
their. ATM, you aren't making any sense.

Well, let me get in on the Trump bashing by pointing out the number of
