There is No Antimemetics Division by qntm.
(qntm has a real name which is Sam Hughes.)
In its concept, this was fascinating, but turned into a bit of a horror
story despite the imaginative ideas and non standard presentation, a
variety of connected reports and short stories.
A "bit" of a horror story as there was no tension and the characters
were similar shades of plastic. And the antimeme premise was perhaps
extreme. Five stars for the concept but I was disappointed so Three
stars or maybe Two.
I read this as it featured in the London newspaper, The Guardian, as one
of the five best SF novels from 2025. Touted as The Laundry Files on
steroids. so it may appeal more to Stross fans.
