Doctor - they even hung a lampshade on his appearance in Fires of
Pompeii.

And David Tennant took a minor role in an animated DW because he
thought that was the only way he could be a part of the show, since

parts of its fandom.

I agree, those people who think it's bad, should stop watching it. I,
for one, will continue watching, and mostly enjoying, it, assuming these >grumps haven't gotten it canceled.

A few years ago, I might have been upset or opinionated about this or had
some kind of a reaction. Now, it just makes me scratch my head and go on
with my day only to forget it in about 20 minutes.
