The Ballad of Stinky George was inspired by real persons and events
reported in various threads at a.a.p.c.

Stinky George (Sulzbach) is a self-proclaimed "Dharma Bum" who lives in
a homeless "camp" under a piece of blue tarp that he shares with his
friend Dirty Mike.-a Loretta is a crack ho who "cuddles" with the
homeless "campers" in exchange for money, alcohol, or drugs.-a Stinky
George considers her his girlfriend.-a Stinky wrote a half dozen or so
poems about Loretta dancing around the "camp" fire, while Dirty Mike
    strummed various stringed instruments.

Stinky George often rhapsodizes about fishing in the Chattahoochee which
the homeless "camp" is situated on the banks of.

According to a post by Will Donkey (Dockery), Stinky George once
attacked him and his brother, Brother Dave, with a metal rod -- bashing Brother Dave over the head with it.-a Brother Dave died a year or two
    later from undisclosed causes.

Stinky George was arrested for "indecent exposure" (among other things), claiming that he was urinating in a public area.

Since the recording of the song, Stinky is reportedly residing in a
Veterans hospital in Florida.-a Loretta's fate is unknown.
