We were saddened to hear of the death of Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay (1947"2025), who was a member of the Grateful Dead for 8 years in the 1970s. Her career had other high points (including singing backup on Elvis's "Suspicious Minds"), but we didn't think we could manage a Dancehall for her. So this week we're rerunning our Grateful Dead Dancehall; Godchaux-MacKay appears on several tracks, most notably on "Scarlet Begonias".
