Currently watching "School Reunion" and it just struck me
..... When The Doctor assumes an alter-ego, he (often) uses
the name John Smith, and, to me, he seems to have a bit of a

than he did for any of the other companions??

In my minds eye, back in the day, The Doctor was always much older than

This time around, the age difference between Doctor and Companions, generally, has been much less.

Absolutely. Most series need a season or two to find their footing
(early TNG, anyone..."Shades of Grey"?), and Worf showed up at the right >time. Series picked up even more once the Dominion War started.

says that he was 'The Face of Bo' in a marketing campaign way back
when.
Did Captain Jack have one or ninety-seven thousand face lifts between
this episode and his becoming 'The Face of Bo'??
Face lift?
I figure it was just millions of years in between. And as he got older, >things got weird and only the face was left?
Bye-the-Bye, today my sister (who also lives locally so is enduring
the ongoing T.V. outage) was at her local Doctors and the
receptionist there said she had heard that this outage might last
another two or three WEEKS .... cause the technician that should fix
this problem is on (Christmas/New Year/School) holidays!! ;-(
Ugh!
But rumours... Better check sources with more than that. :)
Currently watching Red Dwarf Series Six!!
Enjoy. :)

I never took Cpt Jack's claim seriously. I assumed it was
just one of RTD's stupid attempts at humour. I don't think
Cpt Jack did become the 'Face of Boe'.

I was reading online that the Aussies have called in some
specialist technicians from an overseas tech company to sort
out your TV outage issues.
You'll be pleased to know that the representatives from
NotKnow Inc, Edmonton, Alberta, are due to fly into Melbourne
tomorrow...
What? Are they going to tell them that they need to retcon their
TV infrastructure?
