Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling series originally premiered on
CBS in September 1985 and ran for two seasons before calling it
quits in October 1986. Reruns of the fan-favorite show
continued airing till June 1987, and the series has remained
    out of commission ever since.

The show revolves around the escapades of animated versions of
Hulk Hogan and other WWE wrestlers as they square off against
their rogue counterparts, led by 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. The
featured character list had some of the biggest names in
wrestling history aside from Hogan and Piper, including Andre
the Giant, Junkyard Dog, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, The Iron
Sheik, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan, as well as veteran WWE
    announcer 'Mean Gene' Okerlund.

Notably, none of the aforementioned wrestlers lent their voices
to the show due to scheduling conflicts, with various voice
    actors filling in for them.

The news of the return of the Rock 'n' Wrestling series comes
just over a month after the death of Hulk Hogan. He tragically
passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71 after reportedly
    sustaining a cardiac arrest.
