Reminds me that I (in the UK) saw the animated "Brady Kids" and "The
Addams Family" before the parent shows.

I saw a few episodes of the Brady cartoon. Starting in the second
series, they got a new actor for Greg who sounded nothing like the
original. The new actor was a mature, deep-voiced man, and it was disconcerting to hear that voice as a teen's voice.
I never heard of The Dukes. Somehow I'm sure it's bad. I vaguely recall
a cartoon version of Punky Brewster. Never watched it, though.

Apparently they gave the General Lee the powers of Chitty Chitty Bang
Bang. Okay then.
Most cartoons are so, so bad. We really shouldn't let our kids watch
this crap.

Reminds me that I (in the UK) saw the animated "Brady Kids" and "The
Addams Family" before the parent shows. So when I eventually saw the
real thing I wondered what happened to the talking bird/wizard and the
house that turned into a car, respectively.

Today, sure. But back then, it would have been very popular in the South.

There was a series of the show "Emergency!".Thought I'd see the Brady
Kids on here too.
As a kid I always wondered why the animal side kicks weren't in the live >action version.
Also on "Star Trek" I was wondering where all these alien crew members
came from and
weren't on the original show. The answer is simple In animation you can
do ANYTHING!

Star Trek: The Animated Series isn't really "forgotten" nor
particularly bizarre.
I haven't seen all of those five shows, but there are some far weirder
ones and more forgotten ones.
