    This report <https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/police-admit-synagogue-victim-killed-by-officers-bullet-in-manchester-attack/OWRBDL2YR5BXHBB6CSI5BVJLB4/>
says that two of the victims of the Manchester synagogue attack had
bullet wounds, which were fatal for one of them.

The attacker did not have a gun. Therefore it must have been the cops
who shot them -- mistakenly, of course.

I donrCOt see any corroborating reports on bbc.com or itv.com/news, just for example. Has anyone else seen similar reports elsewhere?

Yes, I am starting to see others. This one <https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/10/3/police-say-one-victim-possibly-shot-by-officer-during-manchester-attack>
also notes the unfortunate response of some in the Jewish community to
    the attacks:

In an address, [Deputy PM David] Lammy told the community that
they rCLstand in defiance of those terrorists who seek to divide
    usrCY.

However, in response, one person shouted rCLyou enabled it, every
SaturdayrCY, referencing pro-Palestine marches that have taken place
regularly since IsraelrCOs war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

The deputy prime minister also faced calls of rCLgo to Palestine,
    leave us alonerCY.

One would hope such opinions are only those of a minority. Otherwise,
this kind of polarization is exactly the kind of thing that fans the
flames of hate even hotter, and makes peace and reconciliation
    impossible.
