    ItrCOs not clear that Trump has the guts to stand up to China. Notice
    how he keeps threatening them with tariffs, then backing down without
    actually getting anything in return? They are the one country with
    enough economic power to cause real pain to the USA, including MAGA
    voters, and even Trump, dimly, realizes that.

    But even before that, we must close the immigration door.

    Without immigration, our population will decline, and we will be left
    with nothing but old people, and nobody to pay the taxes that support
    the superannuation bills. What will you do then?

    A country full of old people is not a happy country.
