a failing drive on one of his own computers but he expects to be trusted to have the necessary knowledge to fix problems with other peoples computers.

He bricked enough computers that a shop local to him at the time pulled an absolutely brilliant advertising campaign of sorts. They started to offer a "Snit discount" - if you brought your computer to snit and he messed it up, they'd give you a break on properly repairing it when you brought it to them. He must have made them some business in order for them to take the time and offer such a thing. <BFG>

A few years ago I called that shop and they knew all about Michael Glasser and his ability to brick client's computers.

He loves to demonstrate his technical ignorance on a daily basis. He does this by quoting me completely out of context (others a well) and "interpreting" what he thinks we meant by what we wrote. Not surprisingly, he often (nearly always; he's reliable like that) gets things wrong. So wrong, he's not even playing in the same state let alone ballpark. This nearly always results in him writing a totally bullshit story about you and attempting to use what he thought he understood with your own posts to support it. When you catch him doing this and call him out on it, he goes into complete denial mode - How could I be lying when I'm quoting what you wrote? is his goto excuse. Even if you and others take the time to explain how he got things so wrong when he read what you wrote - he will absolutely dismiss you and the others and continue to peddle his understanding of what you wrote.

I laugh and shake my head when snit attempts to post to a technical thread. Assuming it isn't his usual "but Carroll will say" attack he's so clueless that it becomes hilarious.

If someone told snit to reverse his battery cables for the winter season he probably
would do it.

I read somewhere that snit got a flat tire on his car and called his wife for help.
She asked him what tire and he said the front left.
Then she asked how flat it was and snit answered " it's only flat on the bottom. The top

Before google went into read only mode for usenet, Snit was (he denies it, as he denies doing everything else - even when you show him the evidence that proves he did) running a floodbot that would assist him in his efforts to google seed and otherwise slime anyone he had an issue with. The bot would post about you in the subject line, the message body, and, sometimes the signature. It was reliable for quoting something specific snit would write about you and it repeated his message ad nausem. Snit lacks (as I've written) any real technical skill so once google disabled posting, his bot no longer worked and he doesn't know how to reconfigure it to use another system. Like oh say, a real server.

And snit is STILL talking about the floodbot to this very day and of course spewing the "shitty scriptor" claim as well as if he thinks that will throw people off the track.

Used usenet for decades but had no concept of what the references line was or how to use the information provided in it. SC (Steve Carroll) actually took the time and taught (well tried anyway) snit how to interact with a real server via a telnet session. Again, decades spent on usenet - writing thousands and thousands of posts (sometimes on a monthly basis he'd wrack up over 4k! or more!) but didn't know how to actually interact with the server outside of using a client. He's that fucking stupid!

I don't think such things work work out very well where I happen to live. I don't really keep up with those sort of things so I can't say for absolute certainty - but - I don't think such a thing would go over very well where I live. I wouldn't be surprised to learn this has happened or is planned to in the next city over, though. Johnson City, TN has a reputation for multiple things. It's practically it's own mini country.

You hear of a minor car accident on a damn near daily basis taking place somewhere in that city. Where as here, there's probably two or possibly

first read about it. I was *surprised as hell* to learn it was all true!
I've never met anyone else who'd go and do what he actually did. Evidently, several of us have called the place to ask about the Snit discount and
gotten quite the story about how it came to be.

It's complete driver circuit failure combined with burned out LEDs. No real seperation between low and high side. Allowed high side voltages to enter
and destroy the low voltage side along with the LED array they would have driven.

I've only seen this happen in a few chinese ones I bought from one of those fine sites for cheap and or often outright junk. These sort of purchases are imho, the very reason for a netspend prepaid card. <G> If you do get taken,

DBs reputation is so badly damaged though that he's not sustaining more by choosing to be pals with Snit. If anything, snit runs the risk of slight
harm to his reputation - as crazy as that sounds. Snits previous stalking
was tied to a specific individual he knew personally. A family member. It's
no excuse for what snit did, but, it was a specific individual he knew irl
on a personal level. David tries to stalk people he doesn't even know. Along with their business details if he can find them. I can understand what snit did in this case, although I do not agree with it. I cannot understand
Davids when it comes to his stalking behaviour.

I also have to take into consideration that David Brooks had an in person visit with cops for a discussion concerning a 9mm handgun he threatened another posters kids with - told us he had a legal right to own it (but the cops couldn't find anything supporting that) and David wasn't able to
provide them the handgun he supposedly had permisssion to have.

Snits an awful lying, grifting troll - but he hasn't stalked people he
doesn't know (as far as I know anyway) and I haven't seen any posts from him where he went and threatened to shoot anyone. I haven't seen any posts from Snit claiming he owns a firearm and then denying it when police come to talk to him about it. As far as I know, he's had police interaction mostly over being a financially irresponsible driver - not because he threatened
someones kids with a 9mm handgun.
