• Bait & Switch on Maori Wards?

My district voted against Maori wards, but now they're saying the
decision only applies to 2028 and 2031 elections. I suppose it's true
that we can't bind the future, but surely this election also serves as
the default for onward elections, right? At least until it gets put
    on the ballot again, right?

I just feel like I voted for a swan but they delivered a goose.
Someone tell me I'm wrong to feel this way.

Any future Government can do anything. As long as the parties making
up a Government do what they said they would before election day then
    I dint see a problem.

Maori will do whatever they can to get Maori-only wards in each local
body, both now and in the future.
