You're an impostor; Blinky died in RL a long time ago.

They took BlinkyNet away from me while I have been extremely ill. It's
taken me 16 years to get back into shape enough to even make a post. I
was extremely ill with a super-flu, which greatly affected my heart, my
    mind, and my circulatory system.

Alas, though, I did not perish but went completely dark and silent,
nearest thing to a coma there is while still being aware and able to minimally function.

Last week, I came out of the haze and amazed my loved ones and am ready to start living again.

I see that one of my main missions of eradicating Google Group users from
our beloved Usenet was finally achieved. The work I did on that before
going silent is surely what led to this; I'll try stay humble.

The long Eternal September is finally over, both for me and for all of Usenet.

Have you told the people in news.software.readers?
To save you the trouble I'll crosspost this to there.

I have fond memories of that group and the people there but it seems dead
now, like I almost was for so long. Also, I'm staring my new life and
want to post in new groups as a sort of rebirth and not fall back into the same routine.

I was also a regular on:

    alt.fan.cecil-adams

    rec.food.cooking

    24hoursupport.helpdesk

and a handful of hours? Would you like to cross-post there also? I ask
that you respect me and leave the original subject title as-is if you
    choose to do so.

They are there if properly invoked.
