• Sometimes iPhones don't fast recharge?

    Hello,

Sometimes iPhones don't fast recharge? Even with good USB-(A&C) cables
and plugs (e.g., Anker, old vehicles, etc.). iPhones (13, 12 mini, and
11 Pro Max) weren't hot. iOS v26.3's battery didn't say slow charge.
They said ETAs were several minutes to 80% and then over a hour for
100% max, but we wanted to go to 100% ASAP before disconnecting and
    going out again.

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

That is absolutely normal: The charge time from 80% to 100% is about the
same as from 20% to 80% for physical reasons. This cannot be overcome.

This effect is even more pronounced with large batteries of BEVs charged
by a Hyper Charger. Mine starts above 150 kW at low SOCs and drops to 30
to 40 kW at 90% SOC or higher. That is why batteries usually are charged
to only 80%. Everything above is pure stress for the battery and
accelerates ageing considerably. That is especially true for
    LiIon-batteries.

Thanks and interesting. I thought before iOS v26 was faster in recharging back to 100%.
