• Calendar app crashes with a location address in 3 iPhones' iOS v26.2.1.

    Hello,

Calendar app keeps crashing with 214 Pereira Dr., Irvine, CA location
address in three old iPhones (11 Pro Max, 12 mini, and 13)' iOS v26.2.1.
It takes several seconds for the crash to appear. Can anyone else please reproduce this on their iPhones (please list their models and iOS
versions)? Even with a brand new event on ANY date, all day, specific
times, etc. Just that address, save, and test by waiting several seconds
to see if Calendar app crashes. Even opening the map from Calendar
event's location would crash seconds later.

Here's something interesting. If I turn off iPhone's Internet
connections (no wifi and cell data), then no crashes. I noticed no
binocular view so I re-enabled its wifi (no cell data) to get it back,
then it crashed. So, I went back to iOS' Maps directly and then viewed
this locations with its binocular. No crashes until I start moving it
around at this location. Rebooting iPhone didn't fix it. Is it a bug in
    Maps' "street view" or something?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

My iPhone 17's calendar crashes within a couple of seconds on opening
the test-meeting event with this location. My Macs don't with the same
event. iPhone and Mac use iCloud as the same source.

No idea what the cause is for this. Never seen before. I suspect a bug
in the map application or the interface between Apple Map and Calandar
because everything else in the calendar application works as intended.

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

My observation confirms your finding but does not really help.

Thanks. I did leave a bug report to Apple. It would be great if you could do the same. :)

    Irvine Police Department Investigating Murder-Suicide
    Tuesday, December 13, 2022

Irvine, Calif. (December 13, 2022) rCo The Irvine Police Department (IPD) responded to assist the University of California, Irvine Police Department (UCIPD) with a death investigation.

Today at approximately 3:52 p.m., UCIPD responded to 214 Pereira Drive
(Social Science Plaza B) after receiving 9-1-1 calls about subjects on the ground outside a multi-story building. Upon arrival, officers discovered a
man and woman deceased. Detectives discovered evidence suggesting this
incident is a murder-suicide. Preliminary investigation determined the decedents may be related. The names of the involved parties are not being released pending notification of next of kin.

We believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no known danger to
the community. The investigation into this case is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Irvine Police Detective John Sanders at 949-724-7233 or email jsanders@cityofirvine.org.

I agree. Either the poster posted it by accident or is insane.

Can confirm I get the same thing. Does seem linked with the binocular view. Weirdly tried other random US addresses (my local ones don't have binocular view) and they worked fine with the binocular view.

    Still on iOS 26.2 BTW.

Yeah, it seems to be that address.

    Still on iOS 26.2 BTW.

Still crashes in v26.3's iOS Maps app. Don't need to use Calendar app too.
