Ever since upgrading the iOS, I've noticed in the Phone app that the
Favorites page is blank. If I switch to Recents or Keypad then back to
Favorites, it will populate again with the favorite contacts.

Does anyone else see this behavior?

Yes. My wife noticed it the other day when her phone auto updated to 26.2.

There's a setting to change to "classic" with Favourites from "Unified" without, in the Recents view.

Mine already is Classic. I switched it to Unified and the Favorites menu
went away so I switched it back. What is that even for? It doesnrCOt help in any way.

Not seeing this on multiple iPhone 16 Pros. Favorites are listed along
the top of the Calls page in the new Unified view as expected. I had to
switch back to the Classic layout to even see Favorites, but once I did
    they are all still there.

It's fine. Your favorites are shown along the top of the Calls page in
    Unified view.

Not a clue. Having favourites is so intrinsic to using a phone.

I don't like the Unified view and prefer the Classic view. And yes,
switching back and forth brings the missing Favorites from the Classic
view back. But I really shouldn't have to do that.

Yes, I did notice. But as I mentioned earlier, I don't like the Unified
view. Scrolling side to side is a pet peeve. Scrolling up to down is
    the normal method.

As this thread started out, there are numerous occasions where the
Favorites are completely missing from the Classic view. I must toggle
around to other views before they reappear on the Classic view. This
seems like a bug, not a feature.

Restart your iPhone. Nothing of that kind here.
