Same here. Also keystrokes to maximize vertically or horizontally,
or move the window. And a keystoke to tile the windows...
including <laughing> my Conky bars. Had to log out/in to restore.

(This is using the Fluxbox window manager)

I don't need a mouse to open a window. If I need to know where my mouse
is, it's a useless distraction. And I hate the focus-follows-mouse
setting. Too many times, my mouse moved without realising it and
suddenly I'm typing in another window. I really hate that.

Why do you bother with a mouse? :-)

    That wasn't the mouse.

    That was your Gallic nose:

    <https://i.postimg.cc/Hx6c732Y/gallic-nose-2.jpg>

You've got to be careful not to nudge the mouse with that
    gigantic schnoz.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

    Neither do I.

If I need to know where my mouse is, it's a useless distraction.

The symbol on the screen is called a rCLpointerrCY. Far from being a
rCLuseless distractionrCY, it is in fact an important rCLcentre of
interestrCY. Most GUI interactions require you to know where it is.

And I hate the focus-follows-mouse setting. Too many times, my mouse

    window. I really hate that.

DonrCOt you have sufficient feedback as to which window is active? If
the default amount of highlighting isnrCOt enough, I recently discovered
a new KDE Plasma setting, where inactive windows become translucent. I
find this adds to the differentiation between them.

I find focus-follows-mouse useful because it means a window doesnrCOt
have to be completely visible before I can interact with it -- less
    fiddly than tiling window managers.
