You DO realize that you can ignore "Patch Tuesdays", right? You
can totally disable the automatic updates.

You cannot disable them permanently. Sooner or later they will be
    forced on you.

Yes, you can. No, they won't. Group Policy Editor.

Is that an extra-cost rCLEnterpriserCY or rCLProrCY feature? In other words, irrelevant to normal Dimdows users?

Windows Pro. Costs the same as Home if you know where to buy it. You can do the same thing in Home via the Registry. Group Policy Editor is just a GUI front end for the Registry.

I am looking at a laptop of mine. I have not "Checked For Updates" since 9/1/2025 3:02PM.

4 months. When am I going to be "forced"?

Seriously. Stop babbling about things you know nothing about.

So the answer to my question is rCLyesrCY, then: this is not something that ordinary Dimdows users would even comprehend.

Seriously. Stop babbling about things you know nothing about. Windows Defender updates are NOT included in the above. It only blocks Windows Updates.
Windows Defender CAN be disabled, but is (1) stupid and (2) a different thing than disabling Windows Updates.

"Stupid point" indeed. YOU raised the "stupid point" and YOU were 100% wrong about it.

Keep on digging that hole. Speaking of "growing up", just admit you were
    wrong.
