    Check out this whacko article:

    <https://futurism.com/artificial-intelligence/microsoft-satya-nadella-ai-slop>

That's the top dog at the Micro$hit Corp. and he looks the part He is
a scrawny and withered poor excuse for a man. A re-animated prune would
    be an apt description.

He also pathetically defends the "slop" that he is now forcing into every Micro$hit product.

An OS should not provide anything beyond a hardware interface for independent software to exploit, but Micro$shit has broken that rule ages ago. They attempt
to provide its users with anything and everything in order to destroy other software providers and to make themselves one-and-only source for personal computing. But now they've further imprisoned their hapless market with
forced subsriptions and eternal on-line tethering, while constantly expropriating
CPU cycles for their desktop "billboards."

But the upstart amateurs at GNU/Linux have given that withered runt, and his bloated, balding predecessor Balmer, a strong kick in the ass. They have demonstrated that a scattered and ragtag conglomeration of volunteers can bring their shit-corp to its knees.

Micro$hit is the most detestable and delapidated pile of junk on the planet.

Uh huh, but your Linux machine is so lame that you need your pirated
Windows to browse the Web, you're a sad joke on yourself.

    Great! The same applies here.

But, unfortunately, I must keep a machine that contains M$ Winblows operational. The reason is that I cannot shop on-line for groceries
at a few places. Browsers on GNU/Linux do not function with those
sites. This also applies to other vendors like Newegg and BestBuy.
Blame this on the corporate IT managers who are too incompetent to
understand that M$ Winblows is not the only OS.

I have pie r8ted versions of Winblows 10 and Winblows 11 installed
and it requires HOURS to remove the crap like Defender and Update
    and etc., etc.

But then the web authorities don't want your incompetent opinion

No it does not, and there are oodles of web pages that
    demonstrate just that.

Hint: that's because the "browsers on GNU/Linux" *you* have on your

I don't really care if you pirate software, but don't pretend it's

Dude, you wanted to shop online, is it necessarily fair and just that
they require a modern browser, that may not be according to you, but

Indeed it would. Browsing is not an issue in Linux. It might have been
in the days of Flash where the Linux version was limited to 10.2 and it
was a problem because most sites used it, but developers have since
moved to HTML5 and killed off what was ordinarily used to hack into
computers because of its numerous bugs.

    YOU are the clueless idiot.

To disable Defender requires running as "Trusted Installer" user and that is not easy to do.

Furthermore, it is not enough to just disable Defender. It has to be eradicated
    (deleted) from the machine.

In addition, beyond Defender there are a slew of other junk services that
need to be disabled and a slew of other programs that need to be deleted and
a whole slew of tasks that need to be shut off. If that's not enough then there are still oodles of configuration options that need to be modified.

In all, the process can take several HOURS. Scripting won't help much
because Micro$lop keeps changing things between versions.

I advise you keep your stupid mouth shut. Do not ever reply to my brilliant posts. I am the AUTHORITY. You are the IGNORAMUS LACKEY.

This browser is based on Chrome and is as "modern" as a browser

I wonder if it could be my /etc/hosts file which I use to exclude

An OS should not provide anything beyond a hardware interface for independent software to exploit, but Micro$shit has broken that rule ages ago.

"Ubuntu is a primary platform for all major IDEs, game development
    tools, and AI/ML software."

    https://ubuntu.com/desktop

forced subsriptions, on-line tethering, desktop "billboards."

All are anti-consumer. But not nearly egregious enough to cause
large-scale defections to free-of-cost GuhNoo crapware.

But the upstart amateurs at GNU/Linux have given that withered runt, and his bloated, balding predecessor Balmer, a strong kick in the ass. They have demonstrated that a scattered and ragtag conglomeration of volunteers can bring
    their shit-corp to its knees.

Where "knees" = a market cap of $3.5T.

    You're an idiot.

Micro$hit is the most detestable and delapidated pile of junk on the planet.

That would be your Gentoo shitbox.

Same here. I bank using Firefox in Linux, shop with it and stream videos

    sites need.

I'm just going to wager that Larry "Farley Flud" Pietraskiewicz disable
any privacy-invading features in Firefox believing that someone might
spy on his boring life. All cookies are probably disabled or something.

I'm guessing something like that. I just know that his claims that Firefox doesn't work for shopping on the Internet is pure bullshit.

Yes, it does. You can disable Windows Updates in literally 1 minute in Windows

    YOU are the clueless idiot.

To disable Defender requires running as "Trusted Installer" user and that is not easy to do.

Furthermore, it is not enough to just disable Defender. It has to be eradicated
    (deleted) from the machine.

In addition, beyond Defender there are a slew of other junk services that need to be disabled and a slew of other programs that need to be deleted and a whole slew of tasks that need to be shut off. If that's not enough then there are still oodles of configuration options that need to be modified.

In all, the process can take several HOURS. Scripting won't help much because Micro$lop keeps changing things between versions.

I advise you keep your stupid mouth shut. Do not ever reply to my brilliant posts. I am the AUTHORITY. You are the IGNORAMUS LACKEY.

It was "broken" because the site demanded money for its products and Larry Pietraskiewicz didn't have any. His being broke does not mean that the
    payment system is broken.
