I tried it in my AH Sprite way back in the 70's but always on
grass/dirt, never tried it on a hard surface.

Nah, wasn't a thing in Tassie when I was growing up. Paddock bashing was
our thing. We owned the neighbouring blocks of land and that's where we
ran our old paddock relics. That's the advantage of living out on the
edge of town, no close neighbours to complain about noise and dust.
