Be interesting to see how well the new Hilux does.

Better than the Ranger is my guess.

Not interested, another insurance job the Ranger never makes it to the
the outdoor workshop in 20 years, sold for scrap by insurance company for
$20k except the scrap man only gets $800,the owner gets the the $20k on deposit of next model and the insurance company always looses out
Then the little man at insurance company can not afford to rent so they
have to put the price of diesel and cars
I own land you need to have over 1 million acres to afford a Ranger and
more land to afford the fuel
If you own one you should be planning to make your own fuel from the
land to be responsible, its been like that in the USA since before the
wars, its only just coming back the farms have to make an effort to
    produce fuel in USA

Does anyone have any idea what the *fuck* this lunatic is talking about? :)

In case anyone *is* interested, the top selling models for January 2026
    were as follows:

    Best-selling models of January 2026
    1. Ford Ranger rCo 3403
    2. Toyota HiLux rCo 2800
    3. Mazda CX-5 rCo 2289
    4. Chery Tiggo 4 rCo 2234
    5. Mitsubishi Outlander rCo 1975
    6. Ford Everest rCo 1913
    7. Hyundai Kona rCo 1839
    8. Isuzu D-Max rCo 1798
    9. GWM Haval Jolion rCo 1789
    10. Toyota RAV4 rCo 1757

Ranger is still number 1, and by some considerable margin. Looks like
Toyta's half baked Hilux "upgrade" isn't making it. Cherry Tiggo at
number 4 is interesting, as is the lack of any Tesla.

The Rav4 at number 10 is surprising. They were doing very well and have suddenly fallen in a hole.

It's not cheap, but then Toyota dealers are taking orders for the new
model so perhaps the runouts aren't selling as well as they would like.

Possibly, maybe the new model is a big improvement, maybe the plug in

Interesting that I'm not even slightly interested in any of the vehicles
on the best seller list, we were thinking about updating the Golf but
have now decided to keep it a lot longer mostly because we can't think
of a replacement that fits our needs/wants, it will need tyres and
brakes in the next 6mths but that's still cheaper than replacing it.

That's because they ran out of 2025 models, and the 2026 0nes aren't due

The new model is $6K more expensive and 20Kw down on the old one, which
is why we decided on the 2025 model. The PHEV sounds pretty good, 100Km electric range, 200Kw, but $10K+ more expensive, and not available until September.

I've heard that some of the Chinese made vehicles are pretty good but no matter how good they are I still wouldn't buy one simply because I hate
the way the Chinese are flooding the market with cars that are heavily subsidized by their Govt.
Seems like they are trying to do what the Japanese did but on a much
bigger scale, that is dominate the market because their prices are low
then when they control the market prices jump.
    Fuck the commo cunts.
