I watched this a few years back and loved it. A twist on the old vampire legend. Quite gruesome. As the nurse at my doctor's surgery used to call
it: 'Horror Porn'. It has everything: Greedy businessmen, vampires (of course), horror, Nazis, the works. And no, it's not the least bit played
for fun.
So, if you don't like horror, don't watch it. If you do, then watch it.
I don't think you'll be disappointed. I just started to re-watch the show.
For my money, the final episode is slightly disappointing, but the
penultimate episode is extremely satisfying. Almost worth watching the
whole series, just to see that particular episode.
