In 2005, Survivor introduced arguably its most game-changing concept:
The hidden immunity idol. And over the past 20 years, millions of people
have sat on their couches, maligning the abilities of hundreds of
castaways in their usually-failed attempts at finding the treasured
totem. Now, they get the chance to put their money where their mouth is.

Today, CBS announced the rCLSurvivor 50 Challenge,rCY a first-of-its-kind nationwide scavenger hunt. Starting Jan. 30, 50 idols will be hidden
across all 50 states. The task is simple: Solve the clues and be the
first in your state to get your hands on the hard idol to win an rCLunbelievablerCY prize.

rCLNext season, Survivor hits a major milestone: Our 50th season. And to celebrate, werCOre having you be a part of the fun,rCY says Survivor host
and executive producer Jeff Probst in a video promoting the challenge.

these idols.

To join the idol hunt, fans will need to visit Survivor50Challenge.com
and sign up with their email for alerts on the Survivor 50 Digital Hub.
Over the next couple of months, theyrCOll receive challenge details,
updates, rewards and exclusive content, plus eventually rCo and
essentially rCo the idol clues.

To qualify for the contest, upon finding an idol, you must take a
picture with it and post to the Survivor 50 Digital Hub. One additional
winner will be selected through an online component of the Survivor 50 Challenge Hub, subject to official rules.

Before fans get to watch 24 all-stars hit the jungle searching for many
idols and advantages on Survivor 50 (premiering Feb. 26), theyrCOll get to
try their own hand at an idol hunt. And filming yourself doing a happy
dance upon finding it is not required, but certainly encouraged!
