• Was Savannah's bad TV news experience in Atlanta?

    Here's a post from Savannah's IG on Sept 5, 2024. She announces she's
done with TV news which is weird given how young she is. I'm just
wondering if her bad experience happened at ANF.

I think the general consensus is that the traumatic incident she had
was at KSDK (St. LouisrCO NBC affiliate).

I just found an article that appears to prove you right. That station
and it's management sound toxic as hell. A lot of people have had
    similar complaints to Savannah's.

That makes sense to me. I hadn't heard those sorts of complaints about
any of the local Atlanta stations. Sad to see she ended up at a place
that was so toxic she gave up on her career.

Well she didn't necessarily give up on her career because of the
problems in St. Louis - she went from there to Atlanta where she worked
for three years from 2021-2024. I believe she was eventually let go
from the Atlanta station (technically, her contract was not renewed),
but she does speak well of her time at that station.

The local TV news market must be really bad for her to give up on her
career at her age. I believe she was just 30 at the time.

Do we know if Savannah had applied for Survivor before S49? Anyway, S49
and S50 should lead to a ton of TV opportunities for her. The Challenge
for sure will ask her to do their show.

Yes, she is only 31 at the time of S49, though I personally think she
looks older. Course Sage is only 30 and I think she looks older too.

From what I read, she applied for Survivor for the third time AFTER
being let go by the TV station. So that means she had applied twice previously without success.

Things are kind of strange with that station. It was the local CBS
station for quite a while but this past summer CBS moved to another
station so now it's an independent. That can't be good for the bottom

The toxic work environment probably aged her. I thought she was a lot

Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if she applied while at the toxic station.
