I find it a bit weird that we never hear about mics and batteries on Survivor. On the BB live feeds we hear production telling people to go
to the storage room to get fresh batteries and change out their mic
packs all the time including during important convos. I can't see
Survivor being much different. As for the mic checks, do reporters sound different than the average person?
