Looks like at least some of them figured out Savannah's a reporter. ___________________________________________________________________

After Savannah read that clue, MC was like rCLSherCOs a REPORTER!rCY I was suspicious but that confirmed it. We also did mic checks before tribal
and her counting made it obvious haha! #Survivor49 #Episode7 #MillsSpills

That's interesting. I went back and watched her read that clue and I
didn't really get "reporter" vibes from it. She has a good speaking
voice, but so do a lot of people. The mic checks are a different thing.
I can easily see her showing more familiarity with that than would be expected.

It's interesting that they sussed out what her career was but it doesn't
seem to have affected how far she went in the game. Again, damn those spoilers. I'm also surprised they didn't show anyone discussing their suspicions of her background. Maybe we'll see that on a subsequent episode. --- Synchronet 3.21a-Linux NewsLink 1.2

I'm with you concerning Savannah reading the clue. I get reporter vibes
quite often when she's doing confessionals. I'm pretty sure she's doing
that intentionally and might even be asked to do so by the producers.

I find it a bit weird that we never hear about mics and batteries on
Survivor. On the BB live feeds we hear production telling people to go
to the storage room to get fresh batteries and change out their mic
packs all the time including during important convos. I can't see
Survivor being much different. As for the mic checks, do reporters sound different than the average person?

It could come up in a future episode or maybe it's mentioned in a bonus
video. At the moment, I'm failing to see how knowing Savannah's a
reporter will give them an advantage. Does being a reporter make
Savannah a threat? It would be nice to know how they viewed Devans.

    comfortable doing it.

I think the fear is that a reporter would know how to "tell a story" and
could be very effective at a final tribal presentation.

Well the counter to that is the notion that players want to suck up to
Mike, hoping they'll get cast them in one of his movies. So we'll have
to see if that plays into anything.
