QSL is ok for medium privacy with a Windows box, because you can send
only with outdated and 30 years old TypeII technology to clear net
email addresses or Usenet groups. If you need *anonymity* for email communications better use modern TypeIV technology to send your messages
to Tor Hidden Service endpoint servers, through the Onion Courier Mixnet,
or to clear net email addresses and Usenet.

Setting up a Tor Hidden Srvice endpoint server for family, friends and co-workeres is easy, with a little Raspberry Pi, or cheap VPS and the
Onion Courier Mixnet client is much more easy to use and to learn than
    QSL.

To learn more about the Onion Courier Mixnet:

Hope this helps you to stay up-to-date, with modern and secure
    anonymity solutions!

And for QSL users, besides you, whishing to do anonymous chats
and file transfers, via the Tor Network, here are two more
    solutions:

P.S. If QSL users don't know how to set-up a Tor Hidden Service
    on Windows, just ask.

I hope that sec3 will update his YAMN 2.6 compilation
to 2.7 and apply a security patch.

Of course, it would be even better if sec3 were to run
an Onion Courier mix node, thus showing users interested
in secure, anonymous communications that he cannot log or
see any messages, unlike with his YAMN remailer pool and postfix.

This would help users to trust remops, like sec3, more!

Sorry, folks. I no longer support the YAMN project or help people with YAMN questions. I had also deleted my yamn-proxy program with a modified yamn.exe
on GitHub, because nobody was interested, back then, in secure YAMN mailing, via Tor (directly and without socat etc.)

So... No security patch that you can point to.

You demand I patch Zax's software. With a security patch that someone
else wrote. That you can't identify.

Sounds like you're just trying to spread FUD about YAMN, make folks

I'm jumping into this discussion thinking it's a good opportunity to present some untested code I've produced that still needs development.
It might work, but I don't know.
It could be a starting point, though.

I'm one of those who would fully embrace a full yamn+tor scenario.

afaik, yamn remailers have been working mostly excellent since they
were first introduced back in 2014 . . . but that's only because of
omnimix (i tried the yamn client but couldn't get it to work, don't
know why) . . . yamn remailers definitely work with omnimix, but as
for "secure vs insecure", the only absolute fact is death and taxes,
and gubmit propaganda bots (aka "eelbash") are only doing their job
