Problem is, most parents are as mature as the kids. There are not too
many proper, mentally mature adults left any more. They are all
addicted to their social media, their phones, their reality TV and
their porn - just like their kids.
Parents are no longer role models, mentors, guides for kids - they are peers.

This is what "equality" gets you.

Plus, most parents have no clue about 90% of what their kids do.

They should also ban under 16 year olds from having a cellphone too, or
only allowed a phone that can be locked to only make and receive calls
/ text messages from parentally defined phone numbers, but not able to
do anything else.

tablets so a website can query and block any inbound connections from

There hasn't been such a thing as good parental guidance for years
now. You have to have been born before 1950 to have received that.
This is especially since the late 60s when feminism and no fault
divore destroyed the family unit along with proper child upbringing. Children usually lived with the divorced mother and she stopped being
a parent and just looked upon her children a being her best friends.
Another damaging situation is that from birth to 9, a child needs its
mother, but from 10 onward it need its father.

When the parents can't come to terms with what males and females are, a
kid is dead meat.
