poor of late. I remember when anon posting was almost a sure thing.

worked.

It has gotten to be pretty much of a waste of time trying to reply to
a thread. If the present group of remailer Ops can't handle it, pull
the plug. At least then we wouldn't have to waste our time looking at
the clock and wondering when - or if, the dang post will show up or
not.

There's been some changes for the better in some areas. Thanks to Gabx
we have a news server that isn't blocking groups like some of the
others.

You know what's stupid about the blocking? They did it because remailer
users were replying to an asshole who was abusing other groups via other
open news servers.

He has about a thousand socks and he used a couple to complain about the
mean anon remailer people and the sysops fell for it. They blocked some
groups which are even worse off now than they were before.

Dumb really because it solved nothing and penalized those who did no
harm.

Well, that explains a bit of what the 'F is going on. But what would
be the reason for blocking groups like certain consumer type groups
which have very little going on in them? There are multi groups I
find it impossible to post to any longer, and none of them have trolls
in them. I find it damn near impossible to successfully post to any
groups anymore except for apa-s or alt.privacy. Both of which are now
filled with trolls. And why can't those who should know better - for
example, Stefan and Gabx, stop feeding the trolls. Those two just
insist on feeding the D asswipe and others of his ilk. I don't
understand why others just don't kill file the trolls and let them all
die of neglect.

As for that virebent page, I don't have any more success posting with
that than I do with those almost useless remailers of today.

"Remailers of today"? Remailers work great for many years now
without any flaws at all. No idea what you're doing wrong. Which
exactly are the groups you don't succeed?

Remailers are now a dying breed.

Despite all the dirt thrown at them type II remailers continue to be
the most secure and reliable method of anonymous communication, is it
for posting newsgroup articles or for uni- and in combination with
nymservers bidirectional email transmissions.
