Iran thinks it has been stalling the USA with
promises of nuclear deals.

However it's been Trump that has been stalling
them at these bogus 'talks' as he brings huge
firepower into the region.

Looks like 'regime change' is gonna be a thing.

This IS fraught with numerous issues. However
the old regime is just HORRIBLE in many many
ways and the old "Islamic" thing no longer
persuades the population.

I was taking some extra college courses when
the revolution happened. There were two extreme
factions of Iranians. I'm surprised nobody
was killed ... it was THAT bad.

The old Shah became an asshole, but the ayatollahs
even managed to exceed that. Theo-totalitarians.
Once you claim to be acting for God ... well ...
NO dissent is possible OR ELSE.

In any case, inside a week, Trump WILL start to
severely blast the old regime. The major target
alas is the Revolutionary Guard, the fanatics -
but they will be most difficult to target. The
main army and its assets - including more nuke
stuff - will be easier to find and blast. Iran
will, for a time, become a MINOR power in the
region.

The Supreme Ayatollah was bold enough to say
he'd sink US carriers and such. Don't think
there's any way to DO that however. Some
Russian/CCP tech like drone torpedoes that lurk
below and then streak up into the bottom of
ships MAY exist ... but we KNOW that and thus
can defend.

Anyway, I figure 7 days. Then BOOM for the
"death to America" ayatollahs.

And to MTG and friends ... the USA is NOT some
island in space. It's been a small small world
since about 1900. "Over There" is pretty much
"Right HERE" these days. Gotta deal whether
we like it or not. "America First" DOES include
cutting the balls off the ayatollahs.
