Poland and the United States signed a cybersecurity defense
agreement on Monday, deepening cooperation between their
armed forces to address growing threats in cyberspace.

Actually this 'news' is a month old, but it's the
first time I've seen it.

In any case, Poland is proving to be a much better
ally than most of the EU and the UK. It's got a
big border with Russia, was under Russian domination
for a LONG time in living memory. Poland has become
very SERIOUS about all this shit.

Most euros ... it's all just some TV drama to them.
They won't do anything, pay for anything, DARE to
look bad to Russia. IMHO they'd kind of DESERVE
to become the New Eastern Europe, Vlad's troops
marching in the streets, guns to their heads ....

As for 'cyber-security' ... both Vlad and Xi have
proven they can get into basically EVERY system.
Few are willing to DO anything about it. This
means the Bad Guys basically have a big shiny
red button on their desks marked "Turn Off
The West".

Infrastructure paralyzed, finances scrambled,
comms disrupted, factories in flames ... can
happen in a hot second IF you have broad access.
Xi and Vlad apparently DO at this point. We've
seen their successful probing, but don't want to
spend the money/effort to FIX anything.
