    A federal appeals court ruled Friday that California's ban
    on openly carrying guns in most parts of the state is
    unconstitutional.

    A panel of the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court
    of Appeals sided 2-1 with a gun owner in ruling rCithat the
    state's prohibition against open carry in counties with
    more than 200,000 people violated the rCiConstitution's
    Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

    About 95% of California residents live rUain counties of
    that size.

    Next step would be the USSC - but we KNOW how
    it would vote, so why bother ?

    Open Carry has plusses and maybe some minuses - but
    then ALL Rights are that way ... you accept a little
    bad in order to enjoy the Greater Good.

    Cal, and everyone else, doesn't need GUN control,
    but effective GANGSTER control. The overwhelming
    volume of killings are done by a small number
    of GANGSTERS. Cal WON'T deal with them because
    it might just possibly look "-ist" ......

    Quite a number of states now have Open Carry laws.
    Note there has NOT been an uptick in 'wild west'
    shoot-outs because of it. The gangsters don't
    carry openly, they want to seem harmless, UNTIL ...

    see criminals held accountable for anything, but they'll blame a
    homeowner for defending their family.
