FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed on Wednesday that
    he has resigned his position.

In a statement announcing his departure, Bongino noted that
he would 'be leaving his position with the FBI in January.'

'I want to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel
for the opportunity to serve with purpose. Most importantly,
I want to thank you, my fellow Americans, for the privilege
    to serve you,' Bongino continued.

'God bless America, and all those who defend Her,' he concluded.

Bongino's announcement comes mere hours after Trump appeared to
announce his imminent departure while speaking with reporters
under the wing of Air Force One on Wednesday.

The President said, 'Dan did a great job. I think he wants to
    go back to his show,'

    . . .

This had been hinted the past few days ...

But I wish it was Patel instead - and news says
most of the FBI guys want him gone too.

Patel who is an opportunist elite playing the game and Bondi who I suspect is
a RINO working against Trump need to go.

Bongino is a classic type a person so I suspect he has been frustrated with Patel's lack of leadership.
Personally I like the guy but I think he is making a good decision here. Currently there is too much disarray and confusion in the FBI and the DOJ for that matter.

Bongino seems OK ... and he came from the USSS.
I see him as a "with the troops" personality.
However I can see how he'd be frustrated. Also
more money in his old gigs.

Patel ... seems he called in some political favors
and scored the job. Alas he's not very good at it.
Agents have revealed how he's prone to fits and
blame-games ... and he's SHIT in front of a camera.
Clearly a smart guy, but THIS wasn't where he should
    have been put.

As for 'disarray' ... to a POINT that's been INTENTIONAL.
Trump wanted to break-up the old lawfare factions inside
the org for very obvious reasons. They'd become a nest
    of pinko vipers.

HOPEFULLY it'll straighten out by next year. We DO have
more, and very real, threats from without and within
these days and the FBI is key to finding/dealing.

Bondi ... she has a fair record in Florida and now DC.
She is NOT a RINO. However, not unusual, Trump and
    Trump's entourage don't always see eye-2-eye. There
WILL be crossed signals now and again.

Trump's "Ice Maiden' C-of-S the other day said some
weird things - including saying Trump had an "alcoholic
personality". Oddly, Trump AGREED ... and cited it as
    a reason he never drank.

Trump gets his buzz from being The Commander.

She also said Musk was an "odd bird" and maybe a bit
too heavy on the ketamine ... again true :-)

Anyway, I don't see minor disharmony in this admin as
any sign of treachery or failure ... if anything it is
a sign of 'humanity' ... and How Trump Does Things.
    Butt-kissing sycophants are *useless* - they'll never
    speak the Truth.

I think Patel was put there for political reasons
but had no TALENT for that kind of job. According
to the chatter he seems mostly obsessed with LOOKING
Good and not with DOING good.

Thing is, he's not good at Looking Good either.
Terrible in front of a camera.

Maybe he can get a different post ?

Hoover was constantly pushing "Americanism" - but
ran a very Machiavellian agency - vast stores of
DIRT on every pol, official, industrialist and celeb
so he could pull their strings.

As for 1946 ... Truman was OK too. Dems weren't AWFUL
    like now.
