    Virginia City Nevada.

    Asking about an old hotel, they were told by
    a town historian that an 1800s resident was
    a mining engineer. For some reason he had a
    case of nitroglycerine in his apartment. He
    also had a pet monkey.

    One day he went out, but left the monkey to
    roam free in the apartment.

    The monkey found the NG ... and apparently
    knocked-around the case.

    Which reportedly blew out much of the back wall
    of the hotel and killed several residents.

    So, the moral of the story is ........
