No troubles upgrading.
I upgraded last night. Going through the Update Manager stalled out with
no error; it just sat there for over a half hour with nothing happening. I editied the sources from 'zara' to 'zena' and did the command line
upgrade. It finished in minutes. Watching the install scroll by it seemed
a lot of the time was used installing the new icons.
I installed the Cinnamon version after the SSD switch. It looks okay but I spend most of my time on that laptop in i3 so I wasn't too familiar with
the previous Cinnamon desktop.
No Nvidia in that box either so possible kernel problems don't apply.
