So I also have this issue but annoyingly I've only ever used the hand tool 3 times as only ever needed carpet cleaning before now. I undid the entire machine And found it leaking from the tube that comes from the clean water bin and goes into the middle part. It leaks badly from a white plastic connector/grey seal on the left of the machine facing front. Very annoying and with so many wires and tubes down there it seems impossible to get to to change it. Doesn't leak from the carpet cleaning tube though
