Uncle had broken his neck (quadra-P). Other ended
up in a 'long-term' facility, and nodody could
visit due to Covid restrictions.
Neither in pain, but both lucent &c.
Latter was classified 'death by Covid'
because there was enough going around.
They must have been in rough shape, or at least very thin, if they
starved to death within weeks of not eating. I did hear a number of stories of facilities who marked down that just about everyone who
passed around COVID was a victim of it. Apparently they were
getting paid for each COVID death.
Hospitals were getting upwards of $30,000 per patient. Quite an
incentive to fudge information, wouldn't you say? The truth was laid
out on the CDC website early on. Once my wife and I saw that, we
ripped off our masks for good (which was more-or-less symbolic than
anything else).
