Then why does literally almost every adult drink it with thier meals,

Speak for yourself, I hate soft drinks and hated it as a

Sodas and colas have bittering and souring agents added to it

If your trying to say that soda company's developed a taste that nobody

Soda doesn't significantly dehydrate you because the water content
usually outweighs the mild diuretic effect of caffeine, but its high
sugar content makes it a poor choice for hydration, often increasing
thirst and potentially pulling water from your cells, leaving you less hydrated overall compared to water. While you get some fluids from soda,
it's not an efficient hydrator, and it can negatively impact health, so
    water is always best

Soda doesn't significantly dehydrate you because the water content
usually outweighs the mild diuretic effect of caffeine, but its high
sugar content makes it a poor choice for hydration, often increasing
thirst and potentially pulling water from your cells, leaving you less hydrated overall compared to water. While you get some fluids from soda, it's not an efficient hydrator, and it can negatively impact health, so water is always best

The amount of caffeine in Coke is pretty small. Even with coffee, the
caffeine is less significant than the fact that coffee is a beverage
that people drink when they are not thirsty. When you drink when you're
not thirsty, you over-hydrate. Caffeine also irritates the bladder.
Alcoholic beverages are far more diuretic because alcohol suppresses the release of antidiuretic hormone. That means that I wake up at 3 AM

I only drink Diet Coke, or other diet soda, like Canada Dry. Most often

I seldom sleep through the night. Whether I get up to pee usually
depends on the amount of beer the night before. I have a rather
stretched out bladder from when I used to drink huge amounts of beer. I
know it sounds crazy, but I have no reason to lie about it. I used to
drink two and a half gallons of cheap, shitty American pisswater in 4 or
5 hours, 5 days a week in the late 1980s.
