Locus nomination from 1960-89,
As no less than five of these books are by Alan Dean Foster, you might
have similar taste.-a Harry Harrison is another favourite.
I find the list interesting. It is by no means a new wave list, but nor
is it a sad puppies list.-a I quite agree with him on some of these underappreciated books - he mentions John Brunner's "The Long Result",
which I have talked about here, as well as "Greybeard".-a And even where
I don't agree, he's usually citing a book I liked.

Foster wasn't publishing in the 60s, so is not on that list.-a He is on
the 70s and 80s lists though.
