    Locus nomination from 1960-89,

    As no less than five of these books are by Alan Dean Foster, you might
    have similar taste. Harry Harrison is another favourite.

    I find the list interesting. It is by no means a new wave list, but nor
    is it a sad puppies list. I quite agree with him on some of these underappreciated books - he mentions John Brunner's "The Long Result",
    which I have talked about here, as well as "Greybeard". And even where
    I don't agree, he's usually citing a book I liked.

    Foster wasn't publishing in the 60s, so is not on that list. He is on
