• the shrinking Firefox 145.0

Previously, when I started Firefox, its window would be the same size as whatever it had been when I last quit Firefox (i.e., resizing the window
    was preserved across exit/startup).

With 145.0, it's shrinking! Start, do nothing but quit. Start again:
it's 25 pixels shorter and 4 pixels narrower. Quit, start again:
    shorter and narrower again.

The 25px and 4px look a lot like the window manager label height + the
    window's borders.

    Anyone else seeing that?

[Actually, my preference would be for Firefox to honor the -g (geometry) command line option, but it doesn't.]

I just did a test by resizing the window to the exact same size and over another window of BBird. I then closed Firefox and reopened. It did
reopen exactly the same size, and in exactly the same place I had closed
it. Though, you say version 145.0, and I appear to be on 145.0.1. Mine
does appear to work as you would like.

Do you actually mean the titlebar (which is what I think you mean by the "window manager label"-the bar at the top of the window with the
minimize, restore and close buttons at the right) isn't there when you
start or restart Firefox? That's what I've noticed since the
next-to-last update. Hope Mozilla is working on a fix because this
week's update didn't resolve the issue. I've found that you can work
around it in Windows if you minimize and restore the window by clicking
the taskbar icon. This brings the titlebar and buttons back.

Possibly related, but different: In my case, Firefox isn't changing size
when focus is gained or lost, but when exited and restarted.
    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes.

The titlebar's there from the outset when I start Firefox.

Ah, I should have specified: FreeBSD 14.3 / Xorg X11, not Windows.
Firefox 144.0.2 and earlier didn't have this problem.

The same here: Firefox shrinks its' window after every restart.
And it started long before version 145 (can't remember at which
    version exactly).

If I don't resize the window after every restart, Firefox finally
shrinks it down to several pixels height - only titlebar, tabbar,
toolbar and about 5 pixels of "content" part of the window are visible.

    I use 140.5.0esr now (Linux 64 bit).
