I asked Google "Will the upgrade to Windows 11 that stops some
printers
working, also stop them working under Windows 10 if subscribed to
the
updates?", and its AI replied "Yes, it is possible for the same
printer
issues impacting Windows 11 to affect Windows 10 if you are
subscribed
to updates, although the mechanism and timing may differ. The
changes,
starting in January 2026, primarily phase out legacy V3 and V4
printer
drivers via Windows Update, which affects older printer models
regardless of whether they are running on Windows 10 or 11."
Which I interpret it as saying it doesn't know really.
Anyone know any more?
Is my printer (Samsung CLP775ND) likely to be a V3 or V4 driver?
How do
I find out? Should I turn off the W10 upgrades I jumped through
hoops to
enroll for?

Follow this YT tutorial to stop MS updating third-party drivers through Windows

It appears to be a V3 driver.
For a 13 year old printer (I can see a review from 2012).

He talks about India, migration, and the youth jobs time bomb. I
strongly recommend watching it to learn how to be successful in this

Good luck, and I hope this will kick-start your self-education journey.

(For anyone still wondering about the subject: the answer seems to be
that nobody knows, but don't rely on it not happening - and there is a registry patch that will stop Windows updating drivers, though it's not
clear whether that will stop it _removing_ them.)
