It is compatible with XP and all later versions.

It is the best free software currently available for editing PDF files.

As far as I see on their homepage editing PDFs is possible with server versions only.

Mine did edit them with the regular versions.

Master PDF Editor is marvelous. Very responsive
tech support and they ACTUALLY fix bugs and in a
    timely manner too. Go figure!

The prior comment was w/r to a free version.

Master PDF Editor is fee-ware, not free-ware.

Fix bugs ? They should for the cost of ~$80 - perpetual license, but
support and free updates for one year from purchase date, thereafter $40
per year for support and free updates.

    cf. Their web site

All licenses are valid indefinitely for the software product version
they were purchased for. In addition, our customers are provided with
free updates and technical support during one year from the date of the purchase. After that, updates and support are available at half-price
    for any other year.

You can't edit with the free version. I sometimes will use
it as an alternative for Acrobat Reader, when AR fails at
something. Do not hurt to have two ways of doing things.

And it is worth every cent to me. They fix things usually
in two weeks. And yes, I pay them every year.

And they are damned helpful with other questions.

And get thus, if there is a work around to a bug, they
tell you. And then fix it anyway. Everyone else won't
their bugs if there is a work around. So you can still
get your work done in the two wait period.

I can not list for you every time in the 31 years
of doing this that I have been told by paid services'
    tech support that:

    1) they have no method of contacting the developers
    2) the developers get angry at them if they report things
    3) the developers ignore them

Code Weavers (Master PDF Editor) is an absolute class act.

Good lord, Betterbird just fixed a TWELVE YEAR OLD bug in
Thunderbird. I have starting supporting Betterbird.
They are a class act too.
