Day 56, 25 February 2026
1) Numbers 5, Numbers 6
NUMBERS 5
The Unclean
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 (Lev 13:46; 21:1) Command the children of Israel that they put out
of the camp every leper, and everyone who has a discharge, and whoever
is defiled by the dead.
3 (Lev 26:11-12; Dt 23:14) Both male and female you will put out.
You will put them outside the camp, so they do not defile their
camps in the midst of which I dwell.
4 The children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp.
As the Lord spoke to Moses, so the children of Israel did.
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every
leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the
dead:
[3] Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put
them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
[4] And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
Restitution for Wrongs
5 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
6 Tell the children of Israel: When a man or woman commits
any sin against another, acting unfaithfully against the Lord,
that person is guilty,
7 (Lev 5:5; 26:40; Jos 7:19) and shall confess his sin which
he has committed, and he will repay his offense with its principal,
and add to it one-fifth, and give it to him who was wronged.
8 (Lev 6:6-7; 7:7) But if the man has no relative to repay the offense to,
let the offense be repaid to the Lord, even to the priest, beside the ram
of the atonement, whereby an atonement will be made for him.
9 (Ex 29:28; Lev 6:17-18) Every offering of all the holy things
of the children of Israel, which they bring to the priest, will be his.
10 Every man's holy things will be his. Whatever any man gives the priest,
it will be his.
[5] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[6] Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any
sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
[7] Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the
fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
[8] But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
[9] And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel,
which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
[10] And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
The Test for Adultery
11 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
12 (Nu 5:19-20) Speak to the children of Israel and say to them:
If any man's wife goes astray, and acts treacherously against him,
13 (Lev 18:20; 20:10) and a man lies with her carnally,
and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband,
and it is concealed though she has defiled herself,
and there is no witness against her, nor is she caught in the act,
14 (Pr 6:34; SS 8:6) and if the spirit of jealousy comes on him,
and he is jealous of his wife who has defiled herself, or if the spirit
of jealousy comes on him and he is jealous of his wife, though she has not defiled herself,
15 (Eze 29:16; Lev 5:11) then the man shall bring his wife to the priest
and he shall bring her offering for her, a tenth of an ephah
(Likely about 3 1/2 pounds, or 1.6 kilograms.) of barley flour.
He shall pour no oil on it nor put frankincense on it,
for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of remembrance, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16 The priest will bring her near, and set her before the Lord.
17 And the priest will take holy water in an earthen vessel,
and the priest will take some of the dust that is on the floor
of the tabernacle and put it into the water.
18 And the priest will set the woman before the Lord,
and uncover the woman's head, and put the memorial offering in her hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy, and the priest will have in his
hand the bitter water that causes the curse.
19 And the priest will charge her by an oath, and say to the woman,
"If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone astray to
impurity with another instead of your husband,
be free from this bitter water that causes the curse.
20 But if you have gone astray to another instead of your husband,
and if you are defiled, and a man besides your husband has lain with you"-
21 (Jos 6:26; 1Sa 14:24) then the priest will charge the woman with
an oath of cursing, and the priest will say to the woman,
"The Lord make you a curse and an oath among your people,
when the Lord makes your thigh rot and your belly swell.
22 (Ps 109:18; Dt 27:15-26) And this water that causes
the curse will go into your bowels,
to make your belly swell and your thigh rot."
And the woman will say, "Amen, amen."
23 The priest will write these curses in a book,
and he will wash them out with the bitter water.
24 And he will cause the woman to drink the bitter water
that causes the curse. And the water that causes the curse
will enter into her and become bitter.
25 (Lev 8:27) Then the priest will take the grain offering
of jealousy out of the woman's hand and will wave the offering
before the Lord and offer it on the altar.
26 (Lev 2:2; 2:9) And the priest will take a handful of the offering,
the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, and afterward will
cause the woman to drink the water.
27 (Jer 29:18; 42:18) When he has made her to drink the water,
then it will be that, if she is defiled and has acted treacherously
against her husband, the water that causes the curse will enter into her,
and become bitter, and her belly will swell, and her thigh will rot,
and the woman will be a curse among her people.
28 If the woman is not defiled, but is clean,
then she will be free and will conceive offspring.
29 (Nu 5:19; 5:12) This is the law of jealousies,
when a wife goes astray to another instead of her husband,
and is defiled,
30 or when the spirit of jealousy comes on him,
and he is jealous over his wife,
and will set the woman before the Lord,
and the priest will perform on her all this law.
31 Then the man will be guiltless from iniquity,
and this woman will bear her iniquity.
[11] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[12] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife
go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
[13] And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness
against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
[14] And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his
wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he
be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
[15] Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring
her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall
pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
[16] And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
[17] And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the
dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put
it into the water:
[18] And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water
that causeth the curse:
[19] And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If
no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness
with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water
that causeth the curse:
[20] But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if
thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
[21] Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath
among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
[22] And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen,
amen.
[23] And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot
them out with the bitter water:
[24] And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
[25] Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's
hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the
altar:
[26] And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
[27] And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to
pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband,
that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become
bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman
shall be a curse among her people.
[28] And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free,
and shall conceive seed.
[29] This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another
instead of her husband, and is defiled;
[30] Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over
his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall
execute upon her all this law.
[31] Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall
bear her iniquity.
NUMBERS 6
The Nazirite Vow
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 (Jdg 13:5; Am 2:11-12) Speak to the children of Israel and say to them:
When either a man or woman will make a hard vow, the vow of a Nazirite,
to separate themselves to the Lord,
3 (Lk 1:15; Lev 10:9; Jdg 13:14) he will separate himself from wine
and strong drink and will drink no vinegar of wine,
or vinegar of strong drink. Neither shall he drink any juice of grapes,
nor eat fresh or dry grapes.
4 (Nu 6:5) All the days of his separation he will eat nothing
that is made of the grapevine, from the seed to the skin.
5 (1Sa 1:11; Jdg 13:5) All the days of the vow of his separation no razor
will come on his head until the days are fulfilled in which he separates himself to the Lord. He will be holy and will let the locks
of the hair of his head grow.
6 (Lev 19:28) All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he will
not approach a dead body.
7 (Nu 9:6; Lev 21:1-2) He will not defile himself for his father
or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister if they die
because the separation of his God is on his head.
8 All the days of his separation he is holy to the Lord.
9 (Nu 6:18; Lev 14:9) If any man dies very suddenly beside him,
and he has defiled his consecrated head, then he will shave his
head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day will he shave it.
10 (Lev 15:14; 15:29) On the eighth day he will bring two turtledoves
or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting.
11 And the priest will offer one as a sin offering and the other
as a burnt offering and make an atonement for him,
since he sinned because of the dead,
and will sanctify his head that same day.
12 (Lev 5:6) He will consecrate to the Lord the days of his separation
and bring a male lamb in its first year as a guilt offering.
But the previous days will be lost because his separation was defiled.
13 (Ac 21:26) This is the law of the Nazirite.
When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he will be brought
to the door of the tent of meeting.
14 (Lev 3:6; 4:32) And he will offer his offering to the Lord,
one male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering,
one ewe lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering,
one ram without blemish as a peace offering,
15 (Ex 29:2; Lev 2:4) a basket of unleavened bread,
loaves of fine flour mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil,
and their grain offering with their drink offerings.
16 The priest will bring them before the Lord and
will offer his sin offering and his burnt offering.
17 And he will offer the ram as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest will offer also his grain offering and his drink offering.
18 (Ac 21:24; Nu 6:9) The Nazirite will shave his consecrated head
at the door of the tent of meeting, and will take the hair from
his consecrated head and put it in the fire which is
under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
19 (Lev 7:30; 1Sa 2:15) The priest will take the cooked shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer and will put them on the hands of the Nazirite,
after he has shaved his consecrated hair.
20 (Ecc 9:7; Ex 29:27-28) And the priest will wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. This is holy for the priest, with the breast waved
and the shoulder offered. And after that the Nazirite may drink wine.
21 This is the law of the Nazirite who has vowed to the Lord,
his offering for his separation, besides whatever else his hand
is able to provide. According to the vow which he spoke,
so he must do, according to the law of his separation.
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
[3] He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any
liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
[4] All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
[5] All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no rasor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself
unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
[6] All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at
no dead body.
[7] He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of
his God is upon his head.
[8] All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.
[9] And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing,
on the seventh day shall he shave it.
[10] And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons,
to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
[11] And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other
for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by
the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
[12] And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days
that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
[13] And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation
are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
[14] And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first
year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for
peace offerings,
[15] And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering,
and their drink offerings.
[16] And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his
sin offering, and his burnt offering:
[17] And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his
meat offering, and his drink offering.
[18] And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of
his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
[19] And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put
them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:
[20] And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and
after that the Nazarite may drink wine.
[21] This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering
unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
The Priestly Blessing
22 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
23 (1Ch 23:13; Dt 21:5) Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying,
This is how you will bless the children of Israel, saying to them,
24 (Ps 121:4-7; 134:3) The Lord bless you
and keep you;
25 (Ps 31:16; 80:7) the Lord make His face to shine upon you,
and be gracious unto you;
26 (Ps 4:6; 29:11) the Lord lift His countenance upon you,
and give you peace.
27 (2Ch 7:14; Dt 28:10) They will put My name upon the children
of Israel, and I will bless them.
[22] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[23] Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
[24] The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
[25] The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
[26] The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
[27] And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will
bless them.
(Take the Lord seriously. His Blessings are plentiful
and his punishment is merciless.)

Exodus 20:1-4,7-8,12-17
1 (Dt 5:22) Now God spoke all these words, saying:
2 (Ex 13:3; Lev 26:1) I am the Lord your God, who brought you
out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 (Jer 35:15; Dt 6:14) You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 (Lev 26:1; Dt 27:15; Lev 19:4) You shall not make for yourself
any graven idol, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven
above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water
below the earth.
[1] And God spake all these words, saying,
[2] I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
[4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is
in the water under the earth:
( No idols, Love the Lord Your God as yourself,
what idols are there in your life?)
7 (Lev 19:12; Jas 5:12) You shall not take the name of the Lord your God
in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone
who takes His name in vain.
[7] Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD
will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
( NO swearing. Remember all good things come from above.
Swear at Satan, the enemy of your soul)
8 (Lev 19:3; Ge 2:3) Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
12 (Lev 19:3; Lk 18:20) Honor your father and your mother,
that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
[12] Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the
land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
(THe Egyptians forced the Hebrews to work without rest.
A Day of rest is good for the soul)
13 (Ro 13:9; Ge 9:5-6; Ex 21:20) You shall not murder.
[13] Thou shalt not kill.
(No killing , and do not call your brother Raca)
14 (Lev 18:20; 20:10)You shall not commit adultery.
[14] Thou shalt not commit adultery.
( A big one. Adultery - Pornography is and adultery industry,
same with Prostitution - Recall Judah. Cheating on spouse is not allowed. Neither fornication)
15 (Lev 19:11; 19:13) You shall not steal.
[15] Thou shalt not steal.
(Never be a thief)
16 (Ex 23:1; Mt 19:18) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
[16] Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
(Never tell a lie)
17 (Ro 7:7; Mt 5:28) You shall not covet your neighbor's house;
you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant,
or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey,
or anything that is your neighbor's.
[17] Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor
his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
(Never envy - pride in involved . Be humble)
The vintage photograph from World War II, taken outside a town's Nazi headquarters, carries a warning for all of us. In the photo, a comfortably dressed woman is crossing the street. A man in a suit walks down the sidewalk, while another has stopped to read a bulletin board on the corner of the building. All seem oblivious to the large banner hanging above
the headquarters' front door, half as long as the building.
It reads, "By resisting the Jew, I fight for the work of the Lord."
This kind of treachery is what God had in mind when He commanded,
"You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name" (Exodus 20:7). This command covers misusing His name when we curse or when we carelessly shout God's name when we stub a toe or smash a finger. It also includes perversion - using God's name as cover for evil.
We shouldn't assume we're doing God's work simply because others say we are. We must prayerfully check our work with what God reveals in the Bible. How can we know we're serving Him? Psalm 119:9 says, "By living according to your word." The God who commands us to "always give [ourselves] fully to the work of the Lord" has told us what that work is in His holy
book (1 Corinthians 15:58). Let's listen to Him.
Reflect & Pray
What work have you done in the name of God?
How do you know it was what He wanted?
Dear Father, please help me be wise, loving, and careful
with what I do in Your name and help me guard Your name at all times.

Week 8 Guided by Grace Day 4 - Send for Help !
James 1:5
5 (Pr 2:3-6; Jn 15:7) If any of you lacks wisdom,
let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally
and without criticism, and it will be given to him.
5 If any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
A new employee in an electronics plant had the responsibility
for overseeing one machine. The machine worked fine when the young man
came on duty, but soon it began to run a bit rough. The employee
tinkered with the machine, trying to "fix" it, until finally if stopped
working altogether
In fear and trembling the worker sent for the foreman, and stammered,
"I - I, well, sir, I did my best to fix it."
"Son", the foreman thundered, "you need to know only one thing. Around
here, doing you best means sending for me!"
Wisdom, James 1:5 says, has its source in God alone. And if we are
to attain wisdom, we need to learn doing our best means sending for God.
Often we spend time tinkering with our lives or the the lives of others.
We don't think to as God for his wisdom in the decisions we must take;
instead, we use our human reasoning and take our best guess.
But the path to wisdom does not lie in guesswork. The scriptures
give us clear indication of God's direction for his people, and through Bible study, application, prayer, and meditation,
we can understand what God wants to reveal to us.
"If any of you lacks wisdom," James says, "he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."
The first step to attaining wisdom is recognising that we are not wise.
The second step is to ask. And God, who is faithful to his Word
and His people, will respond.
Application
a) Under what circumstances have I tinkered with my life,
making it worse rather then fixing it?
b) What practical steps can I take to ask God for wisdom?
4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland
2 Cor 8:9
9 (Mt 20:28; 2Co 6:10; 13:14) For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor,
that through His poverty you might be rich.
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich,
yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Spiritual Blessings in Christ
3 (2Co 1:3; Eph 6:12; 2:6) Blessed be the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 (Eph 5:27; Col 1:22) just as He chose us in Him
before the foundation of the world, to be holy
and blameless before Him in love;
5 (Ro 8:29-30; Eph 1:11) He predestined us to adoption as sons
to Himself through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure
of His will,
6 (Mt 3:17; Eph 1:12) to the praise of the glory of His grace
which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.
7 (Ro 3:24; Ac 2:38; 20:28) In Him we have redemption through His blood
and the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace,
8 which He lavished
3 Blessed be the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 according as he hath chosen us in him
before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy
and without blame before him in love:
5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure
of his will,
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

The Lord's prayer
Matthew 6:9-13
9 "Therefore pray in this manner:
Our Father who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.
12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."
9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Alberta
Quick facts on Muslims in Alberta
Alberta 2015 population 4121700
est Muslim Population 195240
CNMM Networks: Calgary and Edmonton
It is estimated that Calgary has 82000 Muslims and Edmonton another 50000 . Alberta may have a total as high as 195240 today.
Calgary is notable as the first Canadian city with a Muslim mayor. It's
become a prominent place of Islamic fundamentalism.
Edmonton's Muslim population is very diverse, with the largest group
coming from Tanzania, followed by Somalia, and then North African countries such as Egypt, Morocco, etc.
Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus! They overcome huge spiritual,
emotional and cultural hurdles to follow Christ. Yet their challenges still continue, especially in growing in discipleship. They often fell lost in our Western congregations, and equally lost trying to find a church body with whom they can identify. some are even being lured into Christian cult groups.
Please join us in praying for:
- The church to reach out to the growing Muslim populations in Alberta.
- for Canadian churches to start contextualised discipleship ministries to Muslim-background believers.
- for Muslm-background believers to be well grounded spiritually and socially
in their faith and the Church.
- and for Muslim-background believers to share their faith with their not-yet-believing family and friendship networks.
- for Farsi and Arabic fellowships to grow in spiritual maturity and outreach. - for current and new workers among Muslims in these growing Muslim

Pray for the Peul of Guinea</a>
Moussa is Peul and has been following Jesus for more than 25 years, making him one of the first Fulani in Guinea to follow Jesus. There are approximately 300 Christians among the five million Fulani living in Guinea.
The Peul, also called the Fulani or the Fulbe, are a primarily Muslim people scattered throughout many parts of West Africa, from Lake Chad in the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the West. It is only in Guinea where they
are the majority people group.
When Moussa turned away from the religion of his ancestors,
his wife left him, but he remained firm.
Today, Moussa has a small caf|- where he takes the opportunity to have in-depth conversations with his customers. Offering glasses of refreshing bissap - a drink made from hibiscus flowers - he reads the Qur'an with them to highlight the supreme position of Jesus, even in their Scriptures. In this way, several people, including an imam, have decided to accept the eternal life offered
by Jesus.
Twice a week, Moussa leads Bible studies for these Christians from a Muslim background. Following the example of Jesus on the road to Emmaus with the two disciples, he explains everything that Islam and its prophets have said about Jesus. Some of these new believers then come to the Fulani church, while others prefer to keep their faith secret for a while.

How to Pray
Pray for Moussa and other Fulani believers who openly share their faith.
Ask that God will provide for and protect them.
Remember Fulani believers in Guinea who are persecuted and discriminated
against because of their faith in Jesus.
Pray that more Fulani people may come to know eternal life in Jesus.
My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity (Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .

Day 25 of the Month
a) Pray that there will be a growing number of people in your city or
community trusting in Christ as Saviour and Lord.
(Acts 2: 41,47b
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized,
and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
47 ... And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
47 ... And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
)
b) Pray that those who serve in the justice system will be agents of true justice for all.
( Prov 11:1
1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord,
but a just weight is His delight.
1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD:
But a just weight is his delight.
)
Eight) Day 3 - Renewal begins internally, not circumstantially.
Scripture: Psalm 51:10rCo12 ESV
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) Do not cast me away from Your presence,
and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
and uphold me with Your willing spirit.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God;
And renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence;
And take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
And uphold me with thy free spirit.
---
Waiting. Waiting for circumstances to align perfectly. For a long time, I felt like things had to be just right before coming clean before God. It had to be a planned moment. It had to be emotionally driven. I had to pray the prayers I'd used over and over again.
But the only one who needed everything to be perfect was me.
God waited. He probably waited smiling, like we do when
we watch our kids trying so hard to do things "the right way."
David is clear in this Psalm: "Create in me a clean heart, O God." God is the one who creates. God is the one who sets things right. All we have to do is show up, whether i'rCOs in our car on the drive home, in the shower,
or at the grocery storerCaand be honest.
Fasting doesn't earn God's attention; it simply removes the noise so we can show up more honestly before Him.
The other thing I got wrong was thinking this was a one-and-done deal. Salvation is a decisive moment, but it's also something we grow
into (1 Peter 2:2). In the same way, repentance is a lifelong journey.
You see, it's not just, "I messed up, and I'm sorry." It's,
"I messed uprCamake me stronger."
We don't want to repent and remain distant from God. We want to be in His presence. We want to continually experience the joy of His forgiveness,
and we want Him to be the one who holds us up.
---
Personal Reflection Questions:
- Where today, have you felt the nudge of the Holy Spirit to repent?
- When was the last time you asked God to restore the joy of your salvation?
Prayer Points:
- Pray that our small groups and microchurches would experience the deep
community that comes from clean and repentant hearts.
- Pray that as we gather in one another's homes and places of meeting, we
would experience the joy of salvation together, and share testimony
of how God is holding us up.
