    Day 43, 12 Feb 2026

    1) Exodus 39 , Exodus 40

    EXODUS 39

    Making the Priestly Garments

1 (Ex 31:10; 35:19; 35:23) Now from the blue, purple, and scarlet
they made woven garments for serving in the holy place and made
the holy garments for Aaron, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

[1] And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service,
to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as
    the LORD commanded Moses.

    Making the Ephod
    Ex 28:6-14

2 (Ex 28:6-12 ) He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet,
    and fine twisted linen.
3 Then they hammered the gold into thin sheets and cut it into threads
to work them into the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen,
    with skillful work.
4 They made shoulder pieces for it, in order to attach it together.
It was joined by the two edges together.
5 The skillfully woven waistband of his ephod that was on it was like it,
of the same material, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet,
and fine twisted linen, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
    6 (Ex 28:9) They set the onyx stones enclosed in gold filigree settings;
they were engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names
    of the children of Israel.
7 (Ex 28:12; Jos 4:7) And he put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod,
to be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.

[2] And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
[3] And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to
work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
[4] They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
[5] And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[6] And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as
signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
[7] And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be
stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded
    Moses.

    Making the Breastplate
    Ex 28:15-28

8 He made the breastplate, the work of a skillful workman,
like the workmanship of the ephod: of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet,
    and fine twisted linen.
9 It was square. They made the breastplate folded double, a span
(About 9 inches, or 23 centimeters.)
long and a span wide when doubled.
10 They set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz,
    and carbuncle was the first row;
    11 the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;
    12 the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
13 and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper.
They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree.
14 (Rev 21:12) The stones were corresponding to
the names of the children of Israel, twelve,
    corresponding to their names,
like the engravings of a signet,
    each with its name,
    corresponding to the twelve tribes.
    (Reminders and Memorials)
15 They made on the breastplate braided chains like cords of pure gold.
16 They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings
and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
17 They put the two braided chains of gold in
the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
18 The other two ends of the two braided chains they fastened
in the two filigree settings and put them on the shoulder pieces
of the ephod at the front of it.
19 They made two rings of gold and put them on
the two ends of the breastplate,
on the edge of it which was on the inner side of the ephod.
20 They made two other golden rings and put them on the two sides
of the ephod underneath, toward the front of it,
    over against where it joined,
above the waistband of the ephod.
21 They bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod
with a blue cord, so that it might be above the waistband of the ephod,
and that the breastplate might not come loose from the ephod,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.

    [8] And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod;
of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
[9] It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the
length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
[10] And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
[11] And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
[12] And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
[13] And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed
in ouches of gold in their inclosings.
[14] And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
[15] And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work
    of pure gold.
[16] And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
[17] And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the
    ends of the breastplate.
[18] And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.
[19] And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod
    inward.
[20] And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of
the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
[21] And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the
ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the
    LORD commanded Moses.

    Making Other Priestly Garments
    Ex 28:31 - 43

22 Then he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
23 There was an opening in the middle of the robe,
like the opening of a coat of mail,
with a band all around the opening so that it should not be torn.
24 They made on the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple,
    and scarlet, and twisted linen.
25 They made bells of pure gold and put the bells between
the pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe.
26 There was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate,
all around about the hem of the robe to be used in service,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.
27 (Eze 44:18) They made tunics of finely woven linen
    for Aaron and his sons,
28 (Ex 28:4) and the turban of fine linen,
and the decorated caps of fine linen,
and linen breeches of fine twisted linen.
29 The sash was of fine twisted linen and blue, purple, and scarlet,
the work of an embroiderer, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold
and wrote on it an inscription, like the engravings of a signet:
    HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
31 They attached to it a blue cord, to fasten it to the turban above,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.

[22] And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
[23] And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
[24] And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and
purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
[25] And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates; [26] A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem
of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[27] And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
[28] And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
[29] And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet,
of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[30] And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon
it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
[31] And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the
mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

    The Work Completed
    Ex 35:10-19

32 (Ex 39:42-43; 25:40) Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent
of meeting was finished, and the children of Israel did according to all
that the Lord commanded Moses - so they did.
33 They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings:
    its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets;
34 and the covering of rams' skins dyed red,
    and the covering of porpoise skins, and the screening veil;
    35 the ark of the testimony and its poles and the mercy seat;
    36 the table, and all its utensils, and the showbread;
37 the pure gold lampstand, with its arrangement of lamps,
    and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
38 (Ex 30:7) and the gold altar, and the anointing oil,
    and the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;
39 the bronze altar, and its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils,
    the basin and its stand;
40 the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars, and its sockets,
and the curtain for the courtyard gate, its cords, and its pegs,
and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle,
    for the tent of meeting;
41 the woven garments of service to do service in the holy place,
and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and his sons' garments,
    to minister as priests.
42 (Ex 35:10) The children of Israel did all the work according
to all that the Lord commanded Moses.
    43 (Lev 9:22 - 23; Nu 6:23 - 27) Moses looked over all the work,
and indeed they had done it; as the Lord had commanded,
so they had done. Then Moses blessed them.

[32] Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
[33] And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his
    sockets,
[34] And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,
[35] The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
[36] The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
[37] The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
[38] And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
[39] The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his
vessels, the laver and his foot,
[40] The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the
hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of
the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
[41] The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
[42] According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of
    Israel made all the work.
[43] And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

    EXODUS 40

    The Tabernacle Erected

1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 (Ex 13:4; 26:30) On the first day of the first month you shall set up
the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
3 (Nu 4:5; Ex 35:12) You shall put the ark of the testimony in it
and screen the ark with the veil.
4 You shall bring in the table
and arrange the things that are to be arranged on it,
and you shall bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps.
5 You shall set the gold altar of incense before the ark of the testimony
and put the curtain for the entrance to the tabernacle.
6 (Ex 40:29) You shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front
of the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
7 You shall set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar
    and put water in it.
8 You shall set up the courtyard around it and hang up the curtain
    at the courtyard gate.
9 (Lev 8:10) You shall take the anointing oil
and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it and shall consecrate
it and all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.
10 (Ex 29:36 - 37) Then you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering
and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, and the altar shall be
    most holy.
11 You shall anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.
12 (Lev 8:1 - 13) Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance
of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
13 (Ex 28:41) You shall put the holy garments on Aaron and anoint him
and consecrate him, so that he may minister to Me as a priest.
14 You shall bring his sons and clothe them with tunics.
15 (Nu 25:13) Then you shall anoint them just as you anointed their father,
so that they may minister to Me as priests, for their anointing will
surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Thus Moses did. According to all that the Lord commanded him, so he did.
17 (Nu 7:1) In the first month of the second year,
on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.
18 Moses erected the tabernacle and fastened its sockets,
and set up its boards, and inserted its bars, and erected its pillars.
19 Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering
of the tent on top of it, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
20 (Ex 16:34) He took the testimony and put it into the ark,
attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.
21 (Ex 26:33; 40:3) And he brought the ark into the tabernacle,
and set up the veil of the screening, and screened the ark of the testimony, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
22 (Ex 26:35) Then he put the table in the tent of meeting on the north side
of the tabernacle outside the veil.
23 (Ex 25:30; 40:4) He set the bread in order on it before the Lord,
just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24 And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table,
on the south side of the tabernacle.
25 (Ex 25:37; 40:4 ) He lighted the lamps before the Lord,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.
26 (Ex 40:5) Then he put the gold altar in the tent
    of meeting before the veil.
27 (Ex 30:7) And he burned fragrant incense on it,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.
28 (Ex 40:5) Then he set up the curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle.
29 (Ex 40:6) He put the altar of burnt offering by the entrance
of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting and offered
on it the burnt offering and the grain offering,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 (Ex 40:7) Then he set the basin between the tent of meeting
and the altar and put water in it for washing.
31 It was there Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands
    and their feet.
32 Whenever they went into the tent of meeting,
and whenever they came near the altar, they washed,
just as the Lord commanded Moses.
    33 (Ex 40:8; 27:9 - 16) He erected the courtyard
all around the tabernacle and the altar,
and set up the curtain of the courtyard gate.
    So Moses finished the work.

    Exodus 40
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of
    the tent of the congregation.
[3] And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark
    with the vail.
[4] And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are
to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and
    light the lamps thereof.
[5] And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of
the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
[6] And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of
the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
[7] And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and
the altar, and shalt put water therein.
[8] And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at
    the court gate.
[9] And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and
all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and
    it shall be holy.
[10] And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
[11] And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.
[12] And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation, and wash them with water.
[13] And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
[14] And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
[15] And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that
they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
[16] Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did
    he.
[17] And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
[18] And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set
up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his
    pillars.
[19] And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering
of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[20] And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on
the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
[21] And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses. [22] And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of
the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
[23] And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
[24] And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over
against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
[25] And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. [26] And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
[27] And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[28] And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
[29] And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[30] And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the
altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
[31] And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
[32] When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came
near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
[33] And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar,
and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

    The Glory of the Lord

34 (Nu 9:15 - 23; Rev 15:8) Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting,
and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 (1Ki 8:11) Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting
because the cloud settled on it,
and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36 (Ne 9:19; Nu 9:17) When the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle,
the children of Israel would set out in all their journeys.
37 (Nu 9:19 - 22) But if the cloud was not lifted up,
then they did not set out until the day that it was lifted.
38 (Ex 13:21; Nu 9:15) For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day,
and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

[34] Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
[35] And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation,
because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
[36] And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children
of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
[37] But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the
day that it was taken up.
[38] For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was
on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all
    their journeys.

A Nonanxious Presence </a> by John Blase

    Psalm 4

    PSALMS 4
For the Music Director. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1 Hear me when I call,
    O God of my righteousness!
    You have given me relief when I was in distress;
have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) O people, how long will you turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love vanity and seek after lies? Selah
    3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Know that the Lord set apart the faithful for Himself;
the Lord hears when I call to Him.
4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Tremble in awe, and do not sin.
Commune with your own heart on your bed,
    and be still. Selah
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Offer sacrifices of righteousness,
    and trust in the Lord.
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) Many are saying, "Who will show us any good?"
Lift up the light of Your face over us.
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) You have placed gladness in my heart
that is better than when their corn and their new wine abound.
    8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) I will both lie down in peace and sleep;
    for You, Lord,
make me dwell safely and securely.

    Psalms 4
[1] Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me
when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
[2] O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long
will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
[3] But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
[4] Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed,
    and be still. Selah.
[5] Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
[6] There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up
the light of thy countenance upon us.
[7] Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their
    corn and their wine increased.
[8] I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest
    me dwell in safety.

In his 1985 book Generation to Generation, family therapist and Rabbi Edwin Friedman introduced the phrase "a nonanxious presence." Friedman's thesis, later articulated in A Failure of Nerve, is that "the climate of contemporary America has become so chronically anxious that our society has gone into an emotional regression that is toxic to well-defined leadership." Friedman focused on how chronic anxiety spreads within a system - a family,
a workplace, a congregation. Yet in the same way, a leader can offer a nonanxious presence that will spread through a system, becoming a person
of peace in the middle of a storm.

Psalm 4 is a psalm of David, written in the middle of one of life's storms. David was in the grip of anxiety. So he cried out to God, "Give me relief
from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer" (v. 1). While he was fearful for his life, he was also aware that his followers were fearful too: "Many, Lord, are asking, 'Who will bring us prosperity?'" (v. 6).

David's decision to trust God created a nonanxious presence in the presence
of anxiety! "In peace I will lie down and sleep," he said. David could rest because "you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety" (v. 8).

We too can rest in the nonanxious presence God provides.
We can spread His peace wherever we go.

    Reflect & Pray

What's a current situation causing you anxiety?
What would it look like to lead with a nonanxious presence?

You alone, God of peace, are my safety. May my
trust in You encourage others to do the same.

Week 6 Showing Grace to Others - Day 5 When you pray

    Mark 11:25

25 And when you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone,
so that your Father who is in heaven may also forgive you your sins.

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any:
that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

"My prayer don't seem to be very effective," a man told his pastor." I try
to make contact with God, but my prayers seem to hit the ceiling and bounce back."
The pastor thought for a moment, then gently suggested,
"Is there someone in your life you haven't forgiven?"
"What do you mean?" The man's face flushed; the pastor has obviuosly struck
a nerve. "Well, I guess I've had some struggles with my mother ... and then,
my wife, and I ... ." The hidden truth came to light: the man was bound in unforgiving relationships with five of the closest people to him.
Forgiveness is an essential element in prayer. For a very good reason,
worship services in liturgical churches place the confession of sin and the absolution near the beginning of the service, before the reading of God's
Word, prayer, and the sermon. Forgiveness - both the Lord's forgiveness
of us and our forgiveness of others - clears the way for unhindered communication between God and his people.
When we carry anger and bitterness, or even deeply buried, well-subliminated unforgiveness, into the presence of God, our prayers will be affected. We can, however, free the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and the lives of others through forgiveness. We can choose to forgive in light of God's forgiveness
    of us. And when we do, the channels are re-established;
we can pray in power and open ourselves to an awareness of his activity
    in our lives.

    Application

    a) Have my prayers ever been affected by unforgiveness in my life?

    b) Is there someone in my life whom I need to forgive,
whether or not I can work toward?

    4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland

    2 Cor 9:8,11

8 God is able to make all grace abound toward you,
so that you, always having enough of everything,
may abound to every good work.
11 So you will be enriched in everything to all bountifulness,
which makes us give thanks to God.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
11 being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through
    us thanksgiving to God.

    5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:

When you are Facing Pain and Suffering

    Ps 9:9-12

9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble.
10 Those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
    11 Sing praises to the Lord who dwells in Zion;
declare His deeds among the people.
    12 He who avenges deaths remembers them;
He does not forget the cry of the humble.

    The Lord's prayer

    Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:
Our Father who is in heaven,
    hallowed be Your name.
    10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
    Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.
12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,
    as we forgive our debtors.
13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

    Alberta

Quick facts on Muslims in Alberta

    Alberta 2015 population 4121700

    est Muslim Population 195240

    CNMM Networks: Calgary and Edmonton

It is estimated that Calgary has 82000 Muslims and Edmonton another 50000 . Alberta may have a total as high as 195240 today.
Calgary is notable as the first Canadian city with a Muslim mayor. It's
become a prominent place of Islamic fundamentalism.
Edmonton's Muslim population is very diverse, with the largest group
coming from Tanzania, followed by Somalia, and then North African countries such as Egypt, Morocco, etc.
Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus! They overcome huge spiritual,
emotional and cultural hurdles to follow Christ. Yet their challenges still continue, especially in growing in discipleship. They often fell lost in our Western congregations, and equally lost trying to find a church body with whom they can identify. some are even being lured into Christian cult groups.

Please join us in praying for:
    - The church to reach out to the growing Muslim populations in Alberta.
    - for Canadian churches to start contextualised discipleship ministries to Muslim-background believers.
    - for Muslm-background believers to be well grounded spiritually and socially
in their faith and the Church.
    - and for Muslim-background believers to share their faith with their not-yet-believing family and friendship networks.
    - for Farsi and Arabic fellowships to grow in spiritual maturity and outreach. - for current and new workers among Muslims in these growing Muslim

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

    Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and, of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be decorated and festivals will be held.

For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
    which means Blessed Eid!"

Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you know, and Muslims around the world:

    - Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.
Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,
    "that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
18 Even on My menservants and maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below: blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes. 21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]

    Footnotes
    Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.
    - Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective discipleship movements among Muslim people.
    - Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus. Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house."

    Ideas for prayer

    - Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
    - Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving Christ among Muslim people -
Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
    - When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity (Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .
