    You really go the extra mile in researching the poetry you preset here.

    I particularly like the poet's bleak view of February in this poem -- a view that I strongly share. February is the harshest, most barren month, as winter buries the world in ice and snow blotting out all signs of life. It's only because we're able to remember the echo of the vanished robin's song, that we're able to bear it.

    Thank you, yes, we spend days and weeks researching poems before we post them here. We are also glad that February is in the past--snow, ice, more snow and ice, and much cold weather. Bleak House.
