Helen, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary, wayworn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.
On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece
And the grandeur that was Rome.
Lo! in yon brilliant window-niche
How statue-like I see thee stand,
The agate lamp within thy hand!
Ah, Psyche, from the regions which
Are Holy Land!

That's situation dependent, Donkey.
In this situation, you intentionally provoke others, then cry "cyberbully!" when they respond.
Cyberbullying is one-sided: bullies target someone they perceive as emotionally weak.
In your case, it's a straight up Tit for Tat.
You rag on NancyGene for having misspelled "Donne" 5 years ago, so she posts another photo of your frighteningly decaying/missing teeth.
Tit for Tat.
In this thread, you keep reposting the same thing until somebody responds. After having read your same message in six difference posts, folks are going to get annoyed with your and respond accordingly.
Tit for Tat.
Act like an adult and get treated like an adult.
Act like a child, and get called childish names.
Troll people over ancient typos and you're going to get hit with more "toof' pictures.
Tread others with respect, and they'll at least make an attempt to tolerate your presence.

At this point a truce would be irrelevant.
Usenet is dead. Most of the AAPC members have moved to Facebook. No one really cares about the environment here anymore.
But Usenet has its rules ("netiquette"). Treat others with respect, which includes *SHARING* the space with others in a fair manner: no trolling, necrobumping, over-posting, off-topic greetings to "Jordy," etc., and others will treat you accordingly.
No one is here because they *want* to fight
You seem to have been posting less this past week.
Keep it up, learn to share, and stop trolling others and, *in time*, when people see that you're acting like a considerate adult, they'll start treating you like one.

If that was true the childish name-calling would end, since I don't respond in kind to the childish name-calling.
Act like an adult and get treated like an adult.
Adults don't use childish name-calling your you and your fellow trolls do.

Helen, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary, wayworn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.
On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece
And the grandeur that was Rome.
Lo! in yon brilliant window-niche
How statue-like I see thee stand,
The agate lamp within thy hand!
Ah, Psyche, from the regions which
Are Holy Land!
Tom Hanks reciting a poem (Edgar Allan Poe - to Helen)
Again, as most here know, one of my favorites from Poe, who, as
most here also know, was a big inspiration for me and on my
early poetry attempts.

Childish name-calling noted and removed.
You ask for childish name-calling
Typical cyberbully response.
Look it up.
That's situation dependent, Donkey.
In this situation, you intentionally provoke others, then cry
"cyberbully!" when they respond.
Cyberbullying is one-sided: bullies target someone they perceive as
emotionally weak.
In your case, it's a straight up Tit for Tat.
You rag on NancyGene for having misspelled "Donne" 5 years ago, so
she posts another photo of your frighteningly decaying/missing teeth.
Tit for Tat.
In this thread, you keep reposting the same thing until somebody
responds. After having read your same message in six difference
posts, folks are going to get annoyed with your and respond
accordingly.
Tit for Tat.
Act like an adult and get treated like an adult.
Act like a child, and get called childish names.
Troll people over ancient typos and you're going to get hit with more
"toof' pictures.
Tread others with respect, and they'll at least make an attempt to
tolerate your presence.
Perhaps we can try another truce someday, but I've never seen you
express a desire for peace here in the 7-8 years this epic flame war
has been dragging along, Harry... with a couple of regulars (Zod and
Senetto) possibly dead already.
I thought you claimed [Zod] was still alive
DONKEY: The last time I spoke with Zod he was alive, but like Jim Senetto he might be dead by now.
MMP: Well, damn, Donkey. You'd have had a hard time speaking with him if he wasn't.

MMP: You ask for childish name-calling by behaving childishly.
Why did you feel you had to keep repeating the same statement in numerous posts?
Because no one responded to it?
That's typical childish, I-am-the-center-of-the-universe-and-attention-must-be-paid behavior.
If you make a post and no one responds, that means that no one is interested.
If no one is interested, let it go.
Stop making a nuisance of yourself.
DONKEY: Typical cyberbully response.
Look it up.
MMP: That's situation dependent, Donkey.
In this situation, you intentionally provoke others, then cry

DONKEY: No, not really.
See below.
MMP: There is nothing "below" that supports your claim.
MMP: Cyberbullying is one-sided: bullies target someone they perceive as
emotionally weak.
In your case, it's a straight up Tit for Tat.
DONKEY: No, since for starters I never sink to the level of childish name-calling, as you and your troll friends do.
MMP: Of course you do, Donkey. Remember when you copied one of my photos and superimposed "dialogue" on it like "Do I look gay?"
I'd say that was at least on a level of childishness as calling you "Donkey."
MMP: Tit for Tat.
DONKEY: If that was true the childish name-calling would end, since I don't respond in kind to the childish name-calling.
MMP: Tit for Tat (think "This for That") doesn't need to be so specific. You do something to annoy someone, and they do something to annoy you back.
MMP: Act like an adult and get treated like an adult.
DONKEY: Adults don't use childish name-calling your you and your fellow trolls do.
MMP: No shit, Sherlock. That's the point.
When you act like a child, you get treated like a child.
When you waste everyone's time by saying "hello" to "Jordy" six times a day, you get called "Donkey" and "Douchebag."
MMP: Act like a child, and get called childish names.
DONKEY: I call everyone here by their chosen names, I don't use childish name-calling.
MMP: So what?
Instead of pointing your finger at others and calling them names, you point your finger at them and accuse them of being in "a tizzy."
Or you falsely accuse them of identity theft and forgery.
Or you call them "malicious trolls" and attack their poetry which is 1,000x better than yours.
MMP: Treat others with respect, and they'll at least make an attempt to
tolerate your presence.
DONKEY: I use more respect than most here, for starters, I call everyone by their chosen name.
MMP: Wow. You call us by our chosen names while accusing us of stalking you, or of being obsessed with you, or when repeatedly bringing up a typo we'd made ten years ago.
Big fat hairy deal.
DONKEY: Perhaps we can try another truce someday, but I've never seen you
express a desire for peace here in the 7-8 years this epic flame war
has been dragging along, Harry... with a couple of regulars (Zod and

CUJO: I thought you claimed Drunken George was still alive, Douchebag?
DONKEY: The last time I spoke with Zod he was alive, but like Jim Senetto he might be dead by now.
MMP: Well, damn You'd have had a hard time speaking with him if he wasn't. >>
DONKEY: Thst was last week.
How long has it been since you heard from Jim Senetto?
MMP: Jim's life is not your business, Donkey.

EfOA
At this point a truce would be irrelevant.
Venues such as JLA Forums and the revived Movs BBS could turn things around.
I certainly don't want to fight.
You seem to have been posting less this past week.
Keep it up, learn to share, and stop trolling others and, *in time*, when people see that you're acting like a considerate adult, they'll start treating you like one.
This is a response to the post seen at:
http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=659701844#659701844
If course, Usenet could have a comeback, with new members.
That's still possible.
