1 lb Tomatoes; chopped
1/2 c Jaggery
2 ts Salt
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 Fresh ginger piece (1");

1 ts Red chili popwder
1 ts Fresh cumin powder
1/2 ts Cardamom powder
1 ts Cinnamon powder
4 Cloves; powdered
1/4 ts Mace powder
Blend all ingredients in blender without adding water. Cook in heavy
bottomed pan for 30 minutes or until fairly thick sauce is obtained.
This sauce can be cooled, bottled, and kept in the refrigerator for a
month.
