I 100% agree with this.

I find it hard to believe that they are more burt out than their counterparts in Korea and Japan. With Korea having one of the higest suicide rates and lowest birthrates than any other country. Though I will add that Korea has a
lot of self induced social pressures to add to the mix that Western countries do not have.

What self induced pressures do they have that others don't? Curious.

It's pretty well known that workers in a lot of Asian countries are
expected to put the company first, above family, and work 60 or 70
hours a week with no extra pay. That sort of thing would wear on you
after a while.. and I suppose if it's not forced or paid then it is a
self induced pressure.. although I suppose you might lose your job
if you don't do that when everyone else is..
